☽Diana
Although being with Joy and Mali was fun, I had to go back to work.
Nina picked me up every morning and we'd drive to work together listening to some stupid song.
Every day was really normal. Adam would glare, Calum and I would talk, prisoners would act right. Life was pretty mainstream until one day.
I was sitting at breakfast watching the prisoners eat when Micheal walked up to me with his hands shoved in the pockets of his prison uniform.
"What can I do for you Micheal?" He looked nervous but seemed like he was trying to hide it.
He leaned in and whispered, "Calum has not got up yet."
I just smiled and nodded, "I'll get him just go and eat your breakfast."
I walked up the stairs and to Calum's cell. I expected to find him soundly asleep but I found something way worse. Calum was in fact laying on his bed but his face had scratches all over it and his left eye was swollen.A
I gasped and ran over to his side shaking him, "Calum! Calum! Please get up." He laid there silent. I started to panic and put my fingers to his neck. He still had a pulse.
I shook him harder and he started to cough. He winced and turned his head towards me, "Diana. What happened?"
"I don't know. I just found you here. Come on get up." As he sat up I called Nina for back up.
Once she got there we carried him to the nurses office. His wounds got treated and I had to talk to him privately to see what happened.
"Calum, daaaaaqao you remember anything that happened?" A
"I remember I was sleeping. Then just felt punching and pain. I opened my eyes but I couldn't really see who it was."
I sighed standing up and walking over to him. I stood between his legs and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I'm just glad you're ok. However your cell door should have been locked."
He shrugged, "It could be possible they just forgot." All these thought started to pop into my head.
"No nobody forgets. This wasn't some random beat up. This was planned." I tried to ignore the voice in my head telling me the obvious answer of who it was.
"Who would plan it though?" I sighed, already knowing who it was.
Adam.
He probably was on duty and paid or gave prisoners something to beat up Calum. He's trying to get back at me by hurting him. Fucking ass.

After taking Calum back to his cell. I started to look for Adam. He should know he wasn't gonna get away with this. It was lunch so Adam was sitting with his friends laughing and talking.I strutted over and tapped on his shoulder. All his friends got silent as he turned to me.
"Diana come running back so fast?"
I raised my hand back and slapped him. The noise echoed through the prison and caught everybody's attention.
He held his cheek and smirked, "You're mad because I hurt your little boyfriend. Yea I know everything."
I gasped and my breath hitched. He knows?! How does he know? Oh no this isn't good.
"What're you talking about Adam?" He and his friends laughed.
He stood up and was inches away from my face, "I'm not stupid. I know it's him it's always been him. I'm actually not that mad. It's you who's at lost. You're child's gonna have a deadbeat father and a slut mother. Might as well say the child's trash already."
I raised my hand to slap him again but he grabs my wrist twisting it. I winced in pain, "Adam stop."
I turned to see everybody staring doing nothing. What's wrong with them? Do they not have respect? I looked at the Misfits table where Calum was. Being held back Ashton and Luke. I know if they even slipped and let him go he'd kill Adam. Literally.
Out of no where Nina ran up and kneed him in his crotch. He doubled over and fell to the ground. Nina grabbed my hand and took me to the bathroom.
"He did it Nina. I know he did!" I was crying while Nina examined my wrist.
"Di I know but stuff like that will get you caught."
I looked at her confused, "What're you talking about?"
"People talk Di. It could easily get to the chief and this whole situation could get out of hand."
I wanted to get mad at her but she was right. If I don't calm down with the drama the chief could easily find out. He still thinks Adam and I are engaged for god sakes and having a baby. If he finds out I'll get fired and Calum will get punished. I can't put him through that.
I composed myself and went through the rest of the work day trying to ignore Adam and Calum. I hear whispers as I walk around all day. You can't tell people are beginning to become suspicious.
During free time I went upstairs to "check the cells" but you know I really went to Calum's cell.
He was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, "Calum?" He looked up at me.
"Hey." It was so awkward for some reason. I walked over and sat next to him on the bed. He sighed with his shoulders slumped.
"Diana why is everything going wrong?" I grabbed his hands.
"I don't know Calum. Don't focus on that focus on them." I said pointing to my stomach.
He placed one hand on my stomach while he held my hand with the other. We sat there in silence while he rubbed my stomach.
I looked at him and kissed him unexpectedly. There it is again, that spark. Every time we kiss I feel it. Still with his hand on my stomach he kissed back.
He pulled back and smiled, "Diana I need you to promise me something.
I just looked at him waiting. He grabbed both of my hands and sighed, "If I'm ever not there for him or her I need you to give it your all. Raise them the best you can with or without me."
"Calum you are gonna be there."
He bit his lip, "We don't know that Diana. So I need you to promise me."
You could tell he didn't wanna say this or even consider the fact of him not being there but we both knew that there was a slim chance coming home. I nodded, "I promise you."
"Good. Now what're we gonna name our little boy?"
I rolled my eyes and chuckled, "It's not gonna be a boy! It's definitely gonna be a girl."
"In your dreams Jones." Calum protested.
