Never Truly Alone

The world is slowly becoming more cruel. There are more bullies, (Which I will make a chapter on them later), less kindness, more peer pressure, inappropriate trends, and less talking face to face. With all of these issues constantly going on, it can be hard to have the right group of friends, or even at some points, having friends at all.

As a kid, from first grade to third grade, I was completely alone. My only friend from kindergarten was held back. So, I had no other friends. One day, when I was in third grade, a girl (who just so happened to be best friends with my bully, and one of the biggest bullies in the school) totally surprised me. She said, "Why are you always by yourself? You're too nice to be by yourself."

I told her about my friend getting held back and she said, "I know some people that I think you'd be really good friends with." She pointed them out to me and told me to talk to them. I approached them and it was really awkward at first. And they didn't believe me that a mean girl told me to go to them. But one thing I do know is that I am forever grateful to her for that.

To this day, they are still my best friends along with a few more. (of them from that time period is brianna_wiebe_ )

Here is seahorselover2006 and her backstory on this subject...

(I'll tell it from her POV)

"So this year, I had to switch schools from one where I knew everyone to one in which I knew no one. I didn't have many friends, and I'm not the most social person in the world, so it was kinda hard for me to make friends. Luckily, I managed to make a few and we hung out that whole year. My twin brother also switched schools, and it can be really hard sometimes."

(Special thanks to you for letting me feature your story in here!)

You may feel like nobody loves you, or wants to hang out with you. But take my advice, get outside of your comfort zone and just talk to people! Who knows, they could be your friends for a lifetime. Remember to be confident. You are loved no matter what you may think. And remember: it is impossible to be truly alone in this world. Someone is always on your side.

2. "Always remember that in some way or another, you're somebody's angel, even if you don't know it. They love you and think of you even if you don't hear it every day. Trust that there is love all around you even if you cannot feel it. You are not alone."

3. "God hears and He sees, and you are not alone in your struggles. Remain firm and stable, for God has your deliverance planned."-Joyce Meyer

4. "Friendship is the comfort of knowing that even when you feel alone, you aren't."

5. "We were not placed on this earth to walk alone."
