Daija
I could see Kisha and tiara coming through the door while I put naveah onzie on.
"Omggg she's so beautiful " tiara said sitting beside my hospital bed
"Awww and you need to be resting ! You just had her not even 4 hours ago , you not tired ?"
"Girl no I can't sleep or rest I can't take my eyes off her "
I haven't seen Kisha since our moment in my Mama's kitchen but I knew she wanted to see the baby and I wasnt gonna act like no bitch about it. She sat down quietly.
"Kisha ... You wanna hold her"
I could tell she was surprised but excited judging by the way she sprinted up to get hand sanitizer.
I know my past with my sister was rough but I gotta admit she has been doing better. She doesn't strip anymore , she found a good man and they stay together I'm actually proud of her. I watched them hold her and play with her until my eyes got heavy.
"Where's shine?"
"Girl he down stairs ,the police pulled him out to question him about something girl I don't know what the hell going on. "
"You look tired asf " tiara said playing with naveah fingers.
"You need to rest , I would stay but I got class."
"And tiara was my ride "
Since when the hell did tiara and Kisha get close man I missed alot being in Tallahassee but hey I won't ruin the moment.
"At least rock her back to sleep then y'all can go "
"Go go to bed we got this "
Soon as I closed my eyes and laid back I fell slap asleep.
SHINE
"How you doing um..."
"Shine"
Three police officers stood around me as I walked into an office downstairs from daija room.
"Can we get your real name "
"Shine"
"...okay , well we don't want to waist time, so is there anything going on in your house that you need to tell is about "
"Man what the hell y'all talking about and why am I here "
"Well ,it's come to our attention that your girlfriend has been in the hospital more then usual..."
"What y'all trynna say "
He opened up a file and started going through a bunch of papers.
"Well let's see , she been to the hospital for being drugged , she's been in here with her back scratched up and bruised-"
"That was from a shoot out "
"Let me finish ...and now she disappeared with noone hearing from her. Anything we need to worry about "
"Where the fuck this coming"
"Sir please watch your language someones just concerned about her thats all"
I know damn well they wasn't trynna say what I think they trynna say
"Y'all trynna say I'm beating on my fiance !"
"Sir please lower your voice , like I said your not in trouble this is just a concern."
"Man fuck y'all period ."
I tried to walk out but one of then stood in front of the door. I wasn't trynna go to jail and leave daija and naveah here so I sat down.
DAIJA
I was so damn tired but Lord I thank tiara fro rocking naveah to sleep. I sat up trying to clear my vision until I look to the side of my bed and noticed naveah was missing. I instantly felt over the bed until I heard someone humming from the corner of the room. I turned on the lights and my heart was racing once I seen him.
Mr Thompson was sitting in a rocking chair in the corner rocking naveah back and forth humming a tone.
"Mr Thompson-"
He put his finger up motioning me to be quiet.
He rubbed his fingers across her full head of hair. I've heard about him, I remember everything shine told me the other night about his childhood, I was disgusted but now terrified knowing what he can do.
"She's so beautiful , just like her mommy " he said looking up at me
