Alya and I were outside the door with my parents. We would be making a grand entrance. Kieth and Victor would be walking by our side as well.
"Presenting the Royal Family of China!" One of the guards said. The doors were opened and everybody in the ballroom stood up, if they weren't already, and bowed.
"Girl this is so awesome!" Alya whispered to me as we walked out. Alya and I grinned and waved "princess like". I glanced at my class and their reactions were PRICELESS. I would have burst out laughing right there and then if I wasn't in the middle of a grand entrance. I walked to the front.
"Welcome to our distinguished ballroom, here, in our palace. I am Princess Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I hope you all are enjoying the refreshments. I will keep this short and sweet since I'm sure you would like to get back to what you were doing. I apologize for leaving my country to go into hiding. I should have stayed even though I was just a young girl at the time, although Paris was a lovely place to live. I will be staying here permanently, as will Alya in the palace being built for her in Shanghai. But for now, enjoy the food and company!" I nodded at Alya. "Welcome. I am Duchess Alya Césaire. I was not aware that I would become a duchess until I arrived. The Princess has been watching me for a while and I am thankful for that. Thank you for accepting me as your duchess and enjoy!" Alya curtsied then stepped back. I smiled at her. "The duchess and the princess will be going around to greet guests." My father says. The room was once again bustling.
"Alya, should we greet our class first?" I offered. "Yeah, they must have been shocked..." "Or they're still shocked, Alya. Anyways let's go." Alya and I walked over to our class who, by the looks of it, were still recovering from our little surprise.
Adrien's P.O.V.
WHAT?! MARI AND ALYA ARE ROYALTY!?!!??!? I was still recovering from the shock from 20 minutes earlier when they were announced.
"Well, that would explain all the times when they disappeared..." My buddy pal Nino said. "You're not surprised?" I asked. "Eh, it makes sense since I kinda suspected something and this must have been the something that I suspected. And just like I suspected, something was obviously up. Making my suspicions that I suspected correct. "Aghh, Nino, you're making my head hurt." Nino apparently suspected that something like this was up. Ha. No surprise there. But Marinette was super shy! I on the other hand would have never suspected this was up. I glanced at Ms. Bustier. She was smirking. AHA! She must have been helping them hide their secret the whole entire time! THAT'S why she isn't surprised *GASP* How must Chloé feel? I stifled a laugh. Chloe must be the most surprised out of all of us. I nudged Nino, "Here they come."
Tristan's P.O.V.
I knew it! I knew that my cousin was hiding something! She was acting really nervous when she picked me up. This must have been it...but wait. She said she only found out when she arrived! That must mean she was nervous that she would accidentally tell me about Mari! Huh. Alya's class seemed especially surprised. Except for the teacher and Nino.
Marinette's P.O.V.
I took a deep breath. Here it goes.
"Uh, hey guys. I hope you're not too shocked or anything?" UGH what was I thinking??? I hope you're not too shocked or anything?! Well, there goes that. For the first time today, I took a look at what the other's were wearing.
