Alya's P.O.V.
Oh. My. God. It is taking every ounce of strength in my body to NOT scream with joy! I can't believe this is actually happening. I'M THE FREAKING DUCHESS OF SHANGHAI. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT EXISTED TILL MARI TOLD ME!!! Ok Alya, be calm, callmmmmm.
The crown that was sitting upon my head was gorgeous! It was super shiny and...well....royal like!
"C'mon Alya! We have to change ASAP!" Mari calls. She was already hurrying (as fast as she can in the dress that is) to our rooms where the ladies were waiting to do our hair and clothes.
We separated as we rushed to our separate rooms to change into our second outfit. When I walked through my bedroom door, I saw that the 4 Ladies, including Lady Gwyneth who was with us, was already there. "Alya! Sit! We are going to do your hair first." Gwen said. For a girl our age, she acted real mature.
They went on doing my hair into the style I chose. I smiled as they placed the official crown I was just wearing.They brought out the dress I was going to change into. Then I would meet Mari behind the doors of the ballroom for our grand entrance!
Gwen handed me the pair of shoes I had chosen.
I admired myself in the mirror before "running" to meet Mari downstairs.
Marinette's P.O.V.
I had entered my room and saw the same 4 Ladies waiting for me. They dragged me to a chair and I sat down. They did my hair first into the style I chose for the second part of the day. Afterwards they placed my official crown on my head. By this time, I was beaming. I had now fully registered what had just happened. I started squealing uncontrollably as Coco calmed me down. One of the Ladies carried my dress to me, being careful not to wrinkle it. I nodded and smiled, showing my appreciation. Another Lady handed me the pair of shoes that I had chosen
I was ready! I rushed down the stairs to meet Alya. I nodded. "Hey Alya, you ready?" "I was born ready." Alya replied with a grin.
