"Fredrick you're always looking after chrom, take a break for once! " Y/N complained, she was watching Fredrick pick up pebbles.

"I am not. I am doing as I should for milord's needs. " Fredrick responded. Y/N rolled her eyes, he started to give his long speech on what could happen if he hadn't done these things.

"Fredrick I think you need to take a break. " Y/N suggested, " Maybe like, I don't know, just lay down for a while. Go ask chrom! He probably NEEDS you to take a break! " Y/N told Fredrick, Fredrick scoffed and continued to pick up pebbles and place it in a bucket. "You are IMPOSSIBLE! I'm going to my tent! You better be sleeping soon! " Y/N demanded Fredrick. He stared off into space for a bit, his face flushed.

"You're always looking after me though.. " Fredrick mumbled then got straight back to work.

The next morning.

Fredrick just got up from his 5 hour sleep and headed straight to Chrom. He had Y/N's suggestion in his head all night. "Milord I have thought about this for a bit, but may I take a break. Only for a day though. " Fredrick asked, Chrom's eyes lit up.

"YES! Of course you can! Don't even ask next time you need one! " Chrom said pushing him out the front door, "go and enjoy your day! " Chrom said, going back to spend time with his wife and newborn child. 'Milord sure looked more happy than usual. ' Fredrick thought to himself as he kept walking.

Then of course, Y/N popped out of nowhere, " So you did take my suggestion! Ahh! Thank the gods! I was worried that you would run out of pebbles to collect soon! " Y/N joked, Fredrick was about to start his speech but stopped himself. He is on break after all, just for the day. "Oh look at your hair Fredrick! It looks like a birds nest! If you have time to take care of pebbles take care of yourself! " Y/N said grabbing his arm, "C'mon, I'll give you something to do, " Y/N told him, Fredrick followed her since he knew he really had nothing to do. They hurried over to a secluded area after Y/N found her brush. "Sit down, " Y/N commanded him sweetly, Fredrick's cheeks grew the slightest more red.

"Alright, " Fredrick replied and sat down has he felt Y/N's hands and her brush on his scalp. "This is actually quite nice." Fredrick admitted, he closed his eyes and relaxed for once.

Y/N's hands suddenly stopped and he woke up from his paradise. "Done! Now you look amazing! " Y/N commented admiring his new hairstyle, it was combed to the right, extremely handsome is how she would describe it. Y/N looked at his face and noticed he looked disappointed. "Aww, did you like me brushing your hair? " Y/N teases giving him a grin.

"Indeed.. " Fredrick answered, Y/N then suddenly started to run her fingers through his hair.

"You owe me tomorrow. " Y/N told him as he fell into her lap.

"I'll have to ask Milord for another break then, " Fredrick said, completely relaxed.
