ahyoung and jinhyuk has been dating for two years straight right now. and everything is going fine. well, not really. they had few small fights but they ended up apologizing to each other.
eight months ago, jinhyuk contacted ahyoung if he got accepted to be a trainee in top media.
jinhyuk got so excited, ahyoung could see his eyes sparkling and his wide smile when he told her about that. even though ahyoung is against his dream to become an idol, she ended up accepting it. she knew the risk if he became an idol, but she didn't want to stop jinhyuk from chasing his dream.
so that day, ahyoung let him go.
in his trainee days, jinhyuk would sometimes visit her in her house, just stopping by, talking to her about his days, and about how tough it is to become an idol, and whatever. he would tell her that everytime he wanted to give up, he remembered her, which made ahyoung's heart flutters like crazy.
their relationship is going well for months ever since jinyuk became a trainee.
but this week, jinhyuk acted differently.
he doesn't reply to ahyoung's messages, and when he does, he'll always answer just a simple "yes", "ok", or "no". and everytime ahyoung tried to call him, he would always reject it.
ahyoung could feel that jinhyuk is slowly distancing himself from her. she knows that his company doesn't really mind him dating as long as he stay focused and doesn't get caught. and ahyoung never really been in his way, she'd understand him and doesn't bother him too much. she'd always tell him to take a rest and don't stress himself out. she'd always tell him to not come to her house and just rest.
what did she do wrong?
ahyoung woke up very late today. she isn't in a great mood. she's still worried about jinhyuk.
"yah, why aren't you eating?" her brother asked.
"i don't like pancakes, eunsang-ah," she replied while sighing heavily.
"rude," he said to her, stealing the pancakes from her plate and stuff it inside his mouth.
ahyoung burried her face inside her arms while sighing heavily, until she heard her phone rang. she quickly check it, and a smile appeared on her face as soon as she saw the message.
jinhyuk💘 can we meet today?
ahyoung of course! my house?
jinhyuk💘 sure. i'll be there at 9 pm

hours passed by and right now, it's 9 pm. ahyoung has been waiting for jinhyuk on the living room. and once she heard the knock on the door, she quickly open it.
a huge smile appeared on her face once she saw the figure of her boyfriend standing infront of her.
"jinhyuk!" she said, hugging him.
"hey," he replied, hugging her back awkwardly.
she looked up, "where have you been, did you eat well? are you feeling well? did you take enough rest?"
"actually ahyoung," jinhyuk said, breaking free from the hug, "i came here today to tell you that..."
"...we should just stop."
ahyoung's smile disappear slowly as she heard those words. "stop?" she asked him, making sure.
"you know, break up?" jinhyuk said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
ahyoung stared at the floor in disbelief, she couldn't bare to see his eyes. tears started to form in her eyes, "why?"
"why did you want to break up?"
"i'm tired, ahyoung," he said. "they told me that i'll debut soon. i practiced hard everyday, and i couldn't make my time for you."
"you don't have to," ahyoung said to him. "if you were busy, you don't have to contact me. but please... you really wanted to end it all like this?"
"it's my career, ahyoung," jinhyuk said.
ahyoung couldn't hold her tears anymore. she lets them all out, wetting her cheeks.
"i don't want to take a risk to date a normal person when i become an idol. i just wanted to focus on my career, you have to understand it from my side, ahyoung," he told her.
"so you're embarrassed to date a normal person like me?" she asked him.
"it's not like that..." jinhyuk said.
"you know what? forget what i said. let's just end it here. i'm tired of you, and you can find someone else that's better than me."
ahyoung can feel her heart shatters into pieces as jinhyuk bowed to her, as he walked away from her sight. she couldn't believe that after waiting for him for a long time, jinhyuk came to her to end their relationship.
find someone else better?
jinhyuk is enough for her.
jinhyuk is her first love and her first boyfriend. she did so many firsts with him, he is very special in her eyes. he is the reason why ahyoung hold on to their relationship until the last minute, even when she's also tired waiting for him. ahyoung let him go once he said he wanted to be an idol.
ahyoung did everything to make him stay.
but at the end, everything has come to an end. ahyoung felt his legs became weak, as she just sit there, infront of the door, crying pitifully.
she couldn't imagine that heartbreak hurts so much.
jinhyuk is her first heartbreak.
"jinhyuk... please don't leave..." she murmured, as tears won't stop coming out from her beautiful brown eyes.
