"you WHAT?!"
"i'm sorry soyeon, my work here isn't done yet, i can't leave it, my boss will be so mad at me."
"but you promised me that you'll pick me up today!" soyeon shouts on her phone, and once she realized that some people started to looked at her weirdly, she apologized for being too loud.
"do you want to get your brother fired? just call a cab or something," seungwoo, her brother said.
seungwoo and soyeon live together ever since their parents left them. few months ago, seungwoo got accepted to work in a company, which made the both of them happy because seungwoo finally has a job.
but his job made him a lot more busier than he used to.
they only have one car, and both seungwoo and soyeon needs the car to go to their destination daily. seungwoo needs the car to go to work, and soyeon needs the car to go to the college. they both have a trauma with public transportations so that's why they didn't want to go with public transportations.
seungwoo was supposed to pick soyeon from her college today, but he's too busy with his new job, and he will probably work until the sun rises.
"but it's already 10 pm and it's raining, how am i supposed to find myself a cab?" soyeon asked to her brother, feeling annoyed.
"i don't know, but just, go home. i can't pick you up, i'm sorry," seungwoo said.
"god damn it seungwoo."
"that's an oppa for you, and watch your language little sissy, that mouth of yours needs to get trained to talk with manners."
"whatever."
"alright, got to go back to work now, see ya!" and seconds after that, seungwoo ended the phone call.
soyeon sighed, as she looked at her phone. it's almost midnight, and it's raining. she forgot to bring the umbrella with her today, and she didn't want to tell seungwoo about it, because he has been reminding her to bring her umbrella because the rainy season has came. but she forgot about his advice and left her umbrella in her home.
she looked around, and the college are almost empty, there are few people passing by but soyeon knew none of them.
she sighed, as she sat on one of the nearest bench, hoping for the rain to stop soon.
"you're not going home?"
she heard someone asked. she looked up, "i'm waiting for the rain to stop."
the boy just nodded, and after that, none of them lets out any words to say. they both are too awkward with each other, because of the incident that happened in the past that changed their relationship.
