haera stomps her feet as she made her way to the unused laboratory on the corner of the building. haera got detention today for arriving at school late. she got in the detention class and once she's finished with it, the teacher told her to collect all the leftover things in the laboratory and give it to her.
the school laboratory has moved into the third floor, and the old laboratory on the second floor is kind of abandoned. there are still some leftover stuff that the teachers haven't move yet, so they told haera to do it.
"remember to not close the door because the door can't be open from inside," the teacher's warning repeated in her head.
she carefully open the door, leave it open, and placed the box on the table.
she started to grab glass bottles and magnifying glass inside the shelf. as she keep herself busy emptied up the shelf, someone came to her and scream loudly on her ears.
"boo!"
"holy shit!" haera screamed, her hands almost dropped the magnifying glass she's holding.
"goo jungmo! that isn't funny!" she screamed at the boy who just laugh at her.
"i'm sorry, you're just so tempting," jungmo said between his laugh.
haera sighed, "don't bother me. i'm busy, go away! what are you even doing here anyway?"
"me?" jungmo asked.
"no, the ghost."
"oh."
"of course i'm asking you, you idiot!" haera said in frustration.
jungmo rubbed the back of his neck, "i saw you, i surprised you, and i don't know what to do."
"then leave!" haera told him.
"don't want to!" jungmo told her, as he keeps on bothering haera with all his might.
haera is so done with jungmo for now. she glared at him and pushed him all the way to the door, until she realised that the door is closed.
"did you close the door?!" haera asked him in panicked state.
jungmo asked confusedly, "uh... yes?"
"you idiot!" haera said to her as she smacked his back, making jungmo being all dramatic because she hit his back.
haera tries to open the door, but as the teacher said, the door can't be opened from inside. she turned around and glared at jungmo, who was smiling like a total idiot. "okay, i'm sorry," jungmo said.
"i didn't know that the door sucks."
"now what should we do?" haera asked him.
jungmo then take a step forward, his hands are busy banging the wooden door like crazy while shouting for help. haera later joined in, but after five minutes, they gave up. the laboratory is located on the corner, where people rarely pass by.
haera sat down in front of the door, and jungmo followed him.
"today sucks," she said. "i got up late, got detention, told to clean up this room, and now i got stuck in here thanks to you."
jungmo just laugh. he doesn't mind being stuck with her.
haera sighed, "i want to go home, i'm tired."
and few minutes after haera said that, her eyes felt heavy and she began to close her eyes. her head automatically rests on jungmo's shoulder, which made that boy blushed like crazy.
jungmo has crush on her ever since they first met in high school. they remain friends, and he doesn't want to tell her the truth because he's afraid that she might not feel the same and it'll ruin their friendship.
jungmo carefully looked at the figure of haera asleep. he smiled. she looks cute.
"i like you," he confessed.
"i know that i'm such a coward for confessing when you were asleep, but i seriously like you, haera."
"oh really?"
jungmo's eyes widen in shock once he heard haera's voice responding to his confession. he looked to the left, and see that haera has woken up from her sleep.
he panicked, his eyes won't stare at her eyes. his face blushed like crazy.
"you like me, goo jungmo?" haera asked teasingly.
"i-i..." jungmo stutters.
haera laughed a little, as she leaned closer to jungmo and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, "guess what? i like you too."
jungmo's face turned even more red and he couldn't help but smile. "s-so haera—"
jungmo couldn't continue his words as the door suddenly got opened, making the two immediately stood up because of shock.
the figure of their biology teacher can be seen. "kids, go home. now!"
haera and jungmo both quickly exit their way out of the laboratory. and when haera handed the box of the leftover equipments to the teacher, he whispered lightly to her,
