"Simon, let's not forget, there are demons out there okay" Malia reminded and clary nodded in agreement "actual demons with tentacles that want to murder us, do you know how to kill a demon" clary said "I'm an internet search away" Simon protested "Simon, just listen to clary, okay, we could use their help" Malia grumbled.
Izzy opened up a door with weapons stacked onto it and ran her finger across one until jace came and slapped it away. "fifty bucks says he doesn't approve of this mission" she said, still admiring the weapons "I don't approve of this mission" ale said walking towards the group "I spoke with the clave, they're sending seelie scouts to search for valentine, but they made it clear, the little girl does not leave the premises" "her name is not 'little girl' okay! And I don't care what that clave thing, or you want, we are going to find dot, if you don't like it then go stand in the corner and pull the stick out of your arse" Malia scoffed in annoyance. Alec was surprised about what she said; most people wouldn't do that because they found him slightly intimidating.
"Alec this warlock could have the answers we need, with valentines people out there, searching for clary, she's not safe outside alone "jace said "jace has a point" the younger lightwood agreed "et tu, Izzy" Alec asked "alright, since you have all the answers, where do you suggest we search" Alec snapped and Simon had to hold Malia back from knocking him to the ground "we should start at dots apartment in green point, and there's this thrift store that she"- clary cut herself off with a gasp. Malia went straight for her "clary!" she raised her voice she zoned back in.
"Weirdly, I think I know where dot is" she said "great, ill drive" Simon said "unless you guys have some sort of shadow-hunter mobile or something" Malia said referencing batman as stiles had forced her to watch it so many times "you were kidding about the runes on the floor killing me, right "Simon asked and Malia raised her hand to her mouth to keep herself from laughing.
"Possibly" jace said, patted Simon's shoulder then walked off

CLARY AND MALIA WERE LEADING THE GROUP, CLARY BECAUSE OF HER VISION AND MALIA BECAUSE SHE WAS TRACKING DOT BY SCENT.
Malia got a whiff of blood the same time clary went into her vision. Malia ran with the rest of the group following behind her. She had to slow herself down to not expose herself.
They arrived at pandemonium "girls, girls stop, where are you going" jace called out as clary and Malia came to a stop "two men, circle members" clary said and Malia interjected "and blood" jace gave her a weird look but clary didn't take any notice "the same ones who came to my house and took my mum. They have dot they're gonna hurt her or kill her. We have to stop them!" Clary explained then the two girls continued running.
There was no one in the club. Alec told the group that it wasn't safe and that they should go back to the institute. "So what now, valentine has my mum and dot and were just gonna give up" clary said exasperated what about your memories? They can't just be gone" Malia said "there is another option" jace said. The lightwood siblings instantly disagreed.
"I'm not afraid of the silent brothers" jace said, crossing his arms over his chest "who are the silent brothers?" Malia asked, curious "they're shadow hunters with superior powers" jace said "who possess the ability to recover memories" Izzy added " a process that can also kill you, so there's that" Alec said "positivity just isn't in your vocabulary, is it?" Malia asked rhetorically, shooting a look to Alec
"We've broken at least 18 clave rules and now your want to go to the city of bones? There's no way. I won't allow it" Alec told jace "this isn't your choice to make" Malia scoffed "this is clary's decision "you can't ask her to do this "Izzy hissed at the two "if anyone can tell me another way to recover my memories and still get the answers we need, I'm listening" clary said she looked at her fellow shadow hunters and made her decision
"That settles it" clary said

"I can do this" CLARY TOLD HERSELF, TRYING TO CALM THE NERVES COURSING THROUGH HER.
Malia could literally feel the chemo-signals flowing from her "your clary freaking fray. You can do anything "Simon said and Malia nodded her head in agreement. "No mundanes allowed, just like n the training room, right?" Simon said but Malia zoned out, a weird scent entering her nose.
She smelt the air, not caring if anyone saw and walked towards it. No one seemed to be paying attention. She continued towards the source, the scent was becoming clearer and it smelt like death. "Mundane" someone called but Malia wasn't listening "Malia" she heard clary shout and instantly turned back around "hmm" Malia raised her eyebrows
"what were you doing" clary asked in a hush tone as she walked towards Malia "I thought I smelt something" she said "what?" clary asked confused "I mean saw something" Malia tried to cover herself as walked back towards the group.
