"this cup is the one chance I have at getting my mum back" clary said "I agree with clary" Malia said, standing up for her best friend, jace nodding along with her "we can't give the cup to the clave, not now" Malia said "we need it" jace said "it's our only bargaining chip "look I know how powerful this cup is. She decided to call him back but got voice mail instead "its Simon, leave a message" beep "Simon, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner been crazy busy" jace looked over to Malia "we found the cup, clary and I have so much to tell you. Call us back so I know you're not dead" she laughed and hung the phone up.
One of the monitors began to beep really fats, showing that something was near the institute "I told you"- "don't say it" jace cut Alec off "what happening?" clary asked and Malia could smell the panic on her "looks like someone's trying to break in" Izzy said "could be the circle" jace said as he linked his hand with malia's
