Chapter 1 Dinner

"HE'S really getting into my nerves" donghyuck said as he exited from mark's office

"Who?"

"What the--" donghyuck almost jump in shock

"Relax it's just me" jeno said then smiles. He really had a cute smile tho

"What are you? a mushroom? You just appeared out of no where" donghyuck said to jeno

"Fortunately, No" Jeno replied

Donghyuck just rolled his eyes then starts to walk towards the elevator while jeno is behind him. While waiting for the lift, donghyuck noticed jeno behind him

"So, where are you going right now?" Donghyuck asked

"I was about to ask mr. lee about the meeting tomorrow but I forgot to bring my files" jeno said

"Idiot" donghyuck said then clicks his tongue

"Woah no need to rub it in" jeno laughs

"I feel the urge to do it" donghyuck also laughs

The lift arrives and the two of them entered the lift. Jeno pressed the 10th button. Donghyuck didn't bother to look 'cause they're going on the same floor

"How's the day with mr. lee?" Jeno asked while wiggling his eyebrows

"A disaster as always. If I could only throw a chair on him, I'll do it with no hesitations" donghyuck said while remembering how mark called his work a trash

"You know I can tell this to mr.lee right?" Jeno tried to scare donghyuck. But unfortunately, our sassy diva isn't even shaken to the thought if it

"Stop fooling around. I know your ass can't do it you jerk" the younger replied

"You really know me well don't you?"

"We've been friends for 6 yrs. There's nothing new" donghyuck raise his eyebrows

"You know what? You and mr.lee always have an lq" jeno stated

"LQ? What's that?"

"Lover's Quarrel. Where's your last brain cell?" Jeno said

"Lover's what? What the actual fuck jeno? I know I'm gay but that jerk is not my type. I can already tell that his future wife is so unfortunate"

"Aw you're predicting your own future" jeno said then laughs

"Well, fuck you" donghyuck said. The elevator bell rings as a sign that they reached their desired floor

Donghyuck exited the elevator leaving jeno laughing inside the elevator

[Fast forward]

Mark is now on his way to the restaurant said by his mom. It's kinda traffic so he already predicted that he's going to be late for the dinner.

[1 hr later]

Mark entered in the restaurant, he immediately saw his parents with a girl sitting on the round table and he cursed on his mind when he saw that

'I thought no blind date for tonight fuck' he said on his mind

Despite of being pissed mark keep his cool and walked towards his parents. The three of them having a little chit chat so mark cleared his throat for them to notice him.

"Oh, hi there son. Meet herin, she's the daughter of your father's friend" his mom said while smiling.

"I thought no dates for tonight mom? You promised" mark ignored his mom's statement

"Mark be nice" said by his father and that's leaving mark to be nice to herin, or not.

"Hi herin, I'm mark and I just want you to know that you're not my type" mark said then he sits on the chair beside herin

"Mark" he noticed the warning tone on his father's voice but he didn't care anyways

"What? I'm being honest" mark said then he raised his eyebrows

"It's okay uncle I understand" herin said while smiling. Hurt is visible on her eyes

"Let's just order some food" her mother said avoiding the tension building between his son and his husband.

Mark just clicked his tongue

After ordering, mark's father throw him glares probably because he's being so honest earlier

"So mark sweetie, how's your day?" Mark's mom asked

"It's always the same" mark said looking so not interested in the topic and his mom noticed it

"Well, you looked so tired" his mom stated

"Yeah, and you still insist on having a dinner like this knowing that I'm tired" mark said

"We just want to have some time with you"

"Yeah, but why do you have to bring someone? Setting me up on a date again?" Maek frankly asked then looks to herin on his side which is not comfortable

"Do you still know how to be kind son?" Finally, his father had spoken

"Yes, but not when you're still insisting for me to have a girlfriend" mark said

"Why you don't want a girlfriend? You're getting older you need someone on your side--" Her mom said

"Which I want to decide for myself" he interrupted

"You're making herin uncomfortable" her mom said

"I didn't bring her here so I don't have to feel guilty about it" mark said

The conversation between mark and his parents is heating up and thankfully the food arrives when his father is about to said something again.

They start to eat their food silently not until her mom broke the silence

"You will date herin" her mom said

Mark choked on his food

"What the fuck?" Mark said

"Your mouth" his father warns him

"I don't even like her!"

"My decision is final not unless you like someone now" his mom said

"I do like someone" mark said and that makes his mom and dad including herin shocked

"A girlfriend?" His mom asked

"I'll let you know tomorrow afternoon. Goodnight" mark said then leaves the table and walks towards the restaurant's door

What the fuck is that mark lee?

Mark's is so pissed about the fact that they always set him up so he pretend to like someone which is totally fucked up because he have no one to like

Or he do have but he still didn't acknowledge the feelings yet and it's not a girl either
