Chapter 19 Plans

"I THINK we should tell them, Mark" Donghyuck said as he was cuddled by Mark in the bed

"You think so? I mean, I see no point of telling it 'cause we're together now for real" Mark said while caressing Donghyuck's arm

"You're right but my conscience is bugging me" Donghyuck said as he looked at Mark

The older was thinking about it. Sure, he thinks that it's not a big deal, but his parents doesn't like to be lied to. They even prefer Mark to be straightforward and blunt but not rude instead of being a good boy and not telling his true thoughts

Specially, his mom. She really despise liars. Behind that childish and joyful attitude of her, is actually a woman who has a trust issues. He remembered one time when he lied about being late on a extremely important meeting because he forgot to set his alarm.

He told his mom that his car got broken, he need to take the cab and he was sick the night before, which was a lie. His mom found out about that and told him "Mark, it was easy for you to lie and think of an excuse but you had a hard time telling that simple truth? Lying has more work to be done than to be honest, you know"

In the end, they failed to close the deal because of him. A small mistake turned out to be a huge problem plus more disappointment from his mom because of him lying. Mrs. Lee gave him a cold shoulder for weeks and Mark doesn't want that to happen again.

"Hey, Are you okay?"

Mark came back from remembering the past when he heard Donghyuck

"Yes, Babe. What were you saying?" Mark asked

Donghyuck slightly chuckled "I said when will we tell them?" He asked

"Let's have dinner in the house this weekend. We'll tell them there" Mark said as he kissed his forehead "I love you" He mumbled

"I love you too" Donghyuck whispered as he leaned closer to kiss Mark

"You oldie. You totally forgot to check if Nana's phone was there and forgot to callback" Jeno said to Donghyuck as the three of them are inside the cafeteria

Mark has a lunch meeting that's why Donghyuck is now currently having his meals with his two friends

"I told you multiple times already that I didn't do it on purpose" Donghyuck said back

"Nana told me that he was so nervous about it and we had to go back to the office after hours without receiving your call and you didn't even bother to answer when I'm calling you, the fvck?" Jeno said

Jaemin laughed awkwardly beside Jeno

"Uh you guys, it's fineee! Don't worry about it" He said. But of course, bickering is normal to bestfriends that's why the two didn't bother to listen

"I'm doing something important that moment, okay?" Donghyuck said

"Whatever" Jeno said.

"Uh- you guys, can we just continue eating please?" Nana said. The both of them looked at them and smiled

"Alrighty!" Donghyuck said.

Later that day, Donghyuck ended up thinking about if they should tell the truth to Mark's parents or not.
