Chapter 17 Selfless

"KOEUN, where are you? I'm already here" Mark asked koeun on the phone while he's walking towards the door of the café

When he entered, a barista greeted him

"Good evening, Sir! Welcome to Czennies Cafe! Where memories are made. What can I do for you sir?" She said in an energetic voice

Mark looked at her nameplate and he saw "Joy" on it

"Hi, Joy. Table for two please" Mark said

"HEY I ALREADY RESERVED A TABLE FOR YOU GUYS" he heard koeun shouts from the phone

"What do you mean 'for you guys'? Someone will join us?" Mark asked as he raised his eyebrows

"I MEAN FOR US MARCO" Koeun shouts again

"Just tell them my name and they know it already. Bye I'll hung up now. Enjoy. Don't be a fucking asshole and do what your heart wants, okay? and for the last time, I love you" Koeun said as she hung up

"Are you okay with that table beside the window sir?" Joy asked

"About that, My friend made a reservation already. It's under the name of Koeun" Mark said

Joy widens her eyes as she tries to act normal

"Oh, this way sir" She said happily as she leads the way going to the 2nd floor. She knows what's happening already. Koeun is her bestfriend but mark doesn't know it.

As they reached the 2nd floor, It's just a normal set up. But it looks so elegant because it's roof is made of glass. So, you can see the stars from here.

"We're here, Sir. Enjoy" Joy said as he turned his back at Mark

"Oh, okay? everyone is telling me to enjoy" Mark said as he looks around and his gaze went to the boy who's sitting while looking outside the window

"Donghyuck?" Mark said. The said boy slowly turned around to see mark

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Donghyuck asked

"No, What are YOU doing here?" Mark asked too

"Ms. Koeun said that she has something to tell me. What about YOU?" Donghyuck said as he raised his eyebrows at mark

"Koeun said tha- oh crap I get it now" Mark said as he realized what's happening

"What do you mean? Where's your girlfriend?" Donghyuck asked

Mark just chuckles before he walks towards the table and sit across donghyuck

"What girlfriend? I don't have any girlfriend" Mark said

"What are you talking about now?" Donghyuck said

He's getting tired of mark. The older always give him false hopes. Like today he's acting like he loves him then the other day he's rubbing to his face that he's straight.

"I want to make everything right now" Mark said as he reaches for donghyuck's hand on the table

Donghyuck just smiled at mark but it didn't reach his eyes.

"Me too. I have something to tell you"

"You can go first" Mark said while still looking at donghyuck

"Don't you feel guilty about this pretending thingy? Your parents are obviously liked us. I want to end this now mark. I don't want to lie to your parents anymore" Donghyuck said but to his surprise mark just nod at him
