Chapter 18 New Start

"BRO you're scaring me. Why are you smiling like that again? It's been weeks since you've become like that" Lucas said while looking at Mark

They're inside of Mark's office and it creeps the hell out of Lucas the way Mark smiled while typing something on his laptop

Mark just smiled and looked at Lucas

"Nothing. I'm just happy" Mark said

Lucas grinned as he walked towards Mark and sat on the chair in front of Mark

"What happened between you and that sunshine?" Lucas asked as he rested his elbows on the table

Mark looked at him again before he sits comfortably on his chair and stretched his arms

"Nothing" Mark said again and smiled

"You're so boring. I wonder what that wonderful human loved about you" Lucas said as he laughed

Mark throws his pen at Lucas and the latter laughed because of it

"The fvck you're saying" Mark said

"Just wondering. But bro, Donghyuck is a good catch. Ah, I miss being so in love. You're lucky" Lucas smiled genuinely at him

"I am" Mark said before he looked outside his glass window

"What happened to Koeun tho?" Lucas asked

Mark didn't answer and continued to look outside. He owes her big time. He helped Mark to realize his feelings and helped him tell his feelings to Donghyuck, without asking anything in return. She just texted him 'Be happy' that night and that's all. What a good woman she is. He hoped that someday Koeun will find her happiness too

She deserves it so much

"Damn. I don't wanna talk to you anymore. You're not answering. Bye I'm going to work" Lucas said as he stood up and walked towards the door

Mark chuckled without looking at Lucas

"HOW'S working here in the company, Nana?" Donghyuck asked the pink haired man beside him

"It's fine! I'm glad that I have co-workers like you and Jeno" Jaemin said

"Oh, you've met Jeno already?" Donghyuck asked

"Of course, idiot. It's not his first day here you know" Jeno who's behind him suddenly said

He looked at him and rolled his eyes

"I'm not asking you rude man" Donghyuck said

It feels nice to talk to Jeno like this again. After he and mark became official, he immediately tell it to Jeno. And that time, Jeno confessed to him that he still likes him. He was shocked indeed. But what amazes Donghyuck is that, his bestfriend still wants to keep the friendship eventhough he loves someone else already.

He's blessed to have someone like him who's very understanding. They remained friends and will always be. Jeno told Donghyuck everything about the night when Mark and Jeno punched each other while he was drunk. And Donghyuck swear to everyone, he almost flick their foreheads.

"Look who's talking" Jeno said

"Shut up. I'm having a friend talk with Nana. Shooo" Donghyuck said

"Nana, don't ever believe him" Jeno warned Nana before walking away

Nana giggled as he looked at Jeno's back
