Far away, off in the very woods that surrounded Hogwarts was a house, not too big and not too small. Inside, Tim argued with his mother to let him go to Hogwarts.
"I need to go to Hogwarts." Tim explained.
"No you don't ! They don't need protecting!" his mother argued.
"I'm going whether you like it or not. I won't tell anyone. Just let me go! I'll protect them and learn to control my magic!" Tim replied.
His mother sighed obviously giving up the argument. Tim smirked with triumph.
Meanwhile back at Malfoy Manor, Amy was just walking up after being unconscious after several days. Amy slowly tried to get up and felt a jab of pain in her arm and leg. Wincing at the pain, she looked around to see where she was. She was in her room. Amy looked over at her arm to see it bandaged up. She then heard someone stirring on the other side of her bed. Amy turned over to see Aaron in her reading chair that had moved over next to her bed.
Amy quickly pretended she was asleep still. She heard footsteps walk over to the other side of the bed. Amy felt someone start to take the bandages off of her arm. She winced at them moving her arm.
"So, you are awake." Aaron laughed.
Amy's eyes opened and she grinned.
"What's so funny?" Amy asked.
"Just the fact that you tried to pretend you were asleep." Aaron replied.
Aaron continued taking the bandages off of Amy's arm.
"Ow, ow, ow. That very much hurts." Amy winced.
"Sorry, I need to change your bandages." Aaron laughed.
As Aaron changed Amy's bandages she looked over at her calender to see it on a different day than on Christmas Day.
"Aaron, how long was I out?" Amy asked.
"About a week, I want you to know I was by your side the whole time." Aaron replied.
As Aaron finished putting on the new bandages Amy tried to sit up again. She felt another wave of pain come from her arm and leg.
"Careful, you got cut on some shattered glass pretty badly when you fell." Aaron explained.
"Could you help me then?" Amy asked.
Aaron sighed and helped Amy sit up. As Amy sat up the door creaked open and in stepped someone she could not recognize.
"Ah, you're awake!" The man greeted.
"Who are you?" Amy asked.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Minister of Magic." The man introduced.
Amy calmed herself down before saying anything.
"I'm sorry but, I no longer trust the Ministry. I have caught word that you specifically are working with Voldemort and his Death Eaters" Amy explained.
"Those are nothing but rumors Miss Crosswood." The Minister replied.
"Oh yeah? Then how come Zenix Etheron says you are. He told me himself when he broke in just a few days before Christmas Day." Amy retorted.
Amy felt another wave of pain as she shot up out of anger.
"Amy, calm down. That was the other one, this is Hunter Yettim the new Minister of Magic. The Ministry caught word of what the other was doing and put him in Azkaban immediately." Aaron explained.
"Still don't trust them. I have had too many experiences where the Ministry was behind the attack." Amy replied.
The Minister sighed.
"For good reason. I don't fully trust the people I work with either. Anyway I best be off, lots of meetings this afternoon." The Minister explained.
Amy watched as the Minister walked out of the room.
"We'll need to get packed up for tomorrow. We're going to be going back to Hogwarts tomorrow afternoon." Aaron explained.
Amy nodded in agreement, she tried to get up and help but Aaron shook his head. He helped her get over to her vanity table and sat her down.
"You get the jewelry you want, I'll help you pack the rest." Aaron explained.
Amy sighed obviously not going to conquer this argument. The two of them packed up for the rest of the day until bedtime. Amy slept in her bed with Aaron in the chair by her bed. As well as Amy argued, Aaron slept there to keep an eye on her scratches.
