Amy woke up the next morning and walked over to her calendar. AS she looked at the date she rushed over to her wardrobe and got dressed in a formal pale blue blouse and a pleated black skirt. Amy then rushed downstairs to see Astoria just starting breakfast in the kitchen.
"Well, you're up early!" Astoria greeted.
"I am pretty excited! I may be able to get Aaron and Aria back soon!" Amy replied with as smile.
"Now, I know you are excited but, don't get your hopes up too high. They will have to send out a rescue patrol to get them." Astoria explained serving up Amy some scrambled eggs and bacon.
As Amy began eating her breakfast she heard footsteps coming downstairs and into the dining room.
"Good morning Amy! Big day for you today isn't it?" Draco greeted.
Amy turned to face Mr. Malfoy.
"Good morning Mr. Malfoy." Amy answered a smile gleaming on her face.
"I just thought I'd let you know that shortly after breakfast, we are going to be going to the Ministry for your appointment." Draco informed.
"Alright, that's fine with me." Amy replied.
After she had finished breakfast, Amy walked up to her bedroom and brushed her hair until soft and smooth. Amy then put on a pair of black flats and descended gracefully down the grand staircase. She then followed
Draco outside to the car. As they drove away Amy tried to help herself relax by looking at the picture of Aaron, five years ago.
Soon, they pulled up to the entrance to the ministry office building. Amy got our and followed Draco into the Department of Mysteries, into the green tiled hallway, and into one of the meeting rooms. Once inside, Amy saw Andrew as well as many other experienced witches and wizards all talking at once. Andrew lifted his head up from a map of some sort to see Amy standing in the doorway.
"Hello Amy! Good to see you again." Andrew greeted.
The room suddenly got quiet as Amy and Mr. Malfoy entered the room, closing the door behind them.
"Hello Amy! Hello Draco, good to see you again! Amy, I am Luna Lovegood. Don't worry we'll get them back for you." Luna exclaimed.
"Amy I know how to use a locater spell to help us find them. The only thing is we're going to need a picture of either one or both of them. Do you have anything like that?" Andrew asked.
"I have a picture of Aaron." Amy replied.
Amy clicked open the locket and showed Andrew the picture.
"May I see your locket for a moment? Don't worry I will give it right back." Andrew asked.
Amy nodded and unlatched the locket from around her neck and handed it to Andrew. She watched as Andrew placed the locket in the center of the map and point his wand at it.
"Locatus!" Andrew exclaimed.
The locket suddenly rushed to the right side of the map to a location Amy suddenly recognized.
"We need to get them out of there!" Amy shouted.
"Why? What's there?" one of the other wizards asked.
Amy turned to face the wizards in the room.
"I've been there! That's where You Know Who used the Cruciatus Curse on me. It's one of his many bases. The entrance is a cave look for a snake symbol on the side of the opening and you've found it." Amy explained.
Amy watched as Andrew signaled the rest to get going. She watched as the witches and wizards ran out the door. Andrew then looked at Amy and handed her back her necklace.
"They're on their way. You two can go back home. As I understand it school is starting up soon." Andrew explained.
Amy followed Draco back to the car. Once they were on their way home, Amy stared at the picture of Aaron in the locket.
"They're going to return with them safely. Don't worry, I know for one Luna is a powerful witch. She can fend off any Death Eaters that comes their way." Draco reassured as if reading her mind.
"It's not that it's just.....it's been five years since I last seen them I don't want to be that person who just stares in shock once I see them again." Amy explained.
"I can understand that. Don't worry its bound to happen for them too." Draco replied.
Amy was extremely quiet for the rest of the trip back to Malfoy Manor. As she sat in the back seat of the car she stared out the window watching the countryside race by as they drove along.
Will they recognize me? Amy thought.
