Weeks turned into months and it was time for the opening Quittich game, Hufflepuff versus Slytherin. Amy watched where the players were going from the goal posts. As she looked around she spotted flashing light coming from the Forbidden Forest. As the Hufflepuff seeker caught the golden snitch she saw familiar faces of witches and wizards from her meeting with the ministry, run out casting spells at the people behind them in pursuit.
"Hufflepuff wins!" the announcer called.
Amy flew down to the ground, congratulated her team, and followed them off the Quittich field. She put her broom in the corner of the team room and ran out and over to the side the wizards were coming from. Amy then stopped in her tracks once she spotted Andrew at the front of the group. The group split down the middle forming a walkway to reveal Aaron and Aria. Then, Amy caught sight of Zenix from the corner of her eye.
"Sectumsempra!" Zenix casted while pointing his wand at Amy.
Amy quickly felt the spell collide with her as she fell to the ground unconscious.
Days later, she woke up in the Hospital Wing, panicked Amy looked around for Aaron to feel a stab of pain. She then heard footsteps rushing to her side and into her field of vision.
"Amy you're awake!" Andrew exclaimed.
"Please don't tell me I fell off my broomstick and dreamt I saw Aaron and Aria." Amy pleaded.
"They are just answering some questions for the ministry in Professor McGonagall's office. They will be down in a bit." Andrew explained.
Amy sighed in relief then remembered the pain she had felt as she tried to move.
"What happened? Last I remember was the sudden rush of pain as a spell hit me." Amy asked.
"Zenix snuck up on you in the forest and cast the Sectumsempra Curse on you. Aaron immediately ran to your side and ran you off to the Hospital Wing as the rest of the rescue group grabbed Zenix and brought him to Azkaban." Andrew explained.
Then, the doors opened and Amy heard footsteps rush in and stop frozen in the doorway.
"I think its best I leave now." Andrew sighed walking off.
Amy then saw Aaron running to her side.
"Amy? Are you alright?" Aaron asked frantically.
Amy wanted to reach up and give him a hug, but the pain she felt when she moved was unbearable.
"I thought I would never see you again!" Amy replied crying.
"I know, that's why I wrote the letter, to let you know Aria and I were alright. I thought I told you not to come after us." Aaron explained.
"Well, technically I didn't the rescue team did." Amy chuckled.
Aaron laughed, he missed that cheerful Amy he knew and loved.
"How long have I been asleep?" Amy asked.
"Almost a week, I was by your side anytime I could." Aaron replied.
Then, Madam Pomfrey, the school nurse, came in to see Amy awake.
"Good Morning Miss Crosswood! I see you're awake. Can you move at all?" Madam Pomfrey asked.
"Um, I can try." Amy replied.
Despite the pain, Amy sat up in her bed.
"I think you might be able to go back to your dormitory now. The pain is expected from that particular type of spell but, it will go away in minute or two." Madam Pomfrey informed.
Amy turned to face Aaron.
"Did I receive any homework during the time I was asleep?" Amy asked.
"No, your professors let you off because of what happened. Come on let's get you back to the dormitory." Aaron explained.
Amy got out of the bed and tried to walk but wobbled over catching herself on the bed.
"Need a little help there?" Aaron laughed.
"Yes please." Amy replied rolling her eyes.
Aaron helped Amy walk back to the dormitory. As Amy got into the dormitory many people suddenly ran over to talk to her.
"Amy what happened?" one girl asked.
"Amy are you okay?" another asked worriedly.
Then, a boy who was particularly familiar pushed his way to the front of the crowd.
"Hey Amy, I wanted to apologize for the way I treated you these past years. I know now that you aren't meant to be in Slytherin or any of the stuff I said about you. I hope you forgive me." The boy apologized.
"I don't know, you did turn the whole school against me. That I believe is unforgiveable." Amy replied.
"What what? He turned the whole school against you? For what!" Aaron asked.
"I caught word of a few professors talking about how she is the granddaughter of You Know Who and I spread awful rumors around. I realize now she is not the Slytherin, I am for doing those awful things to her." The boy explained.
Aaron then stared at the boy as if he were about to do something.
"Aaron no! Don't you remember what happened with Zenix?" Amy exclaimed.
Aaron sighed, he had forgotten how protective he had gotten. He backed down and helped Amy over to one of the couches where Aria was sitting.
"So, Amy how many birthday's did we miss?" Aria asked.
"Nearly six, why?" Amy replied.
"No reason, just wondering." Aaron explained.
Amy eyed them suspiciously and sighed.
"You two missed a lot. Let's catch up on things." Amy sighed.
The three of them talked for hours upon hours into the night.
