Voldemort's Return: Bargain For Friends

Chapter 1

Amy landed at the front entrance of Hogwarts to have lots of reporters and staff members rush up to her. Obviously hearing about what had happened.

"Miss Crosswood, did you know you were You Know Who's granddaughter?" one reporter asked.

"Where are you going to now that the Weasley's do not want to take you in?" another asked.

Swarmed by all the questions Amy stayed quiet. Then Amy saw Professor McGonnagall squeezed through the crowd and grabbed Amy by the arm and dragged her to her office away from Amy's friends. As Amy stepped into her office she saw the Weasley's and Draco Malfoy arguing but, stopped as they saw Amy coming in.

"What's going on Professor McGonnagall?" Amy asked.

"Both these families want to take you in." Professor McGonnagall explained.

"Amy, please tell us why did Rose do it?" Hermione asked.

"She did what she had to, so that she could protect you. I'm so sorry she had to get mixed up in my family's mess." Amy replied.

"Wait Amy what do you mean your family's mess?" Draco asked.

Amy then felt a tear trickle down her cheek.

"I finally figured out why he wants me. You Know Who doesn't want to kill me, he wants me fighting by his side." Amy explained.

"What do you mean? Why does he want you fighting by his side?" Ron asked.

"You Know Who wants me fighting beside him because I am his granddaughter. My mother was his daughter. She and my father used to be Death Eaters working for him until they realized that they weren't doing what was right. That's why he killed them. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley I can now understand now you don't want to take me in. I just realized he killed her because she was close to me and I don't want you getting hurt either." Amy explained.

"Amy........how did you find out?" Draco asked.

"Scorpius helped me out with a huge chunk of the puzzle. He told me that my parents were Death Eaters. As I was out running away from him I went to my parents' house where he told me himself and......." Amy explained tears flooding down her cheeks at the memory of Aaron and Aria.

"And what Amy?" Professor McGonnagall asked.

"Professor you know how Aaron and Aria went missing from Hogwarts around the same time I did?" Amy asked.

"Yes. But how do you know about that?" Professor McGonnagall asked.

"He took them Professor, You Know Who and Zenix Etheron. I may never see them again. And it's entirely my fault. I tried to stop him I really did but, it was useless." Amy explained.

Everyone in the room was speechless.

"Draco you may take care of her. You knew them for a longer period of time after all. You may be able to help her get over this." Hermione replied.

Amy watched speechless as she watched the Weasley's apparate away. Professor McGonnagall then turned to face Amy.

"Miss Crosswood due to recent events I will have the exams canceled so you may have some time to yourself." Professor McGonnagall explained.

Amy nodded still in shock that the Weasley's let Scorpius's father take care of her.

"I will let Scorpius know you are staying with us until further notice. You don't have to worry about telling him. He will understand. Astoria and I will have a room prepped for you." Draco explained.

Amy nodded as Draco apparated back to Malfoy Manor. She was then excused to go back to her dormitory. As Amy walked into her house's common room she saw everyone staring at her with terrified eyes.

"What?" Amy asked.

"You are his family. Why didn't the sorting hat put you in Slytherin?" one older student asked as he walked up to her.

Amy stared out at all the students staring at her.

"Is that all you think of me now? Someone as bad as him! I disagree with what he has done to me and this world! So if you're just going to judge me like that I will tell the headmistress." Amy shouted.

Amy then ran up to the Girls Dormitory with a few girls following her glaring at the boy.

"It's true! And you know it too Little Miss You Know Who!" The boy shouted after her.
