Cheap thrills

Mackenzie POV
At the beach, we all set out our stuff and started to take our outer clothes off. Underneath I wore a burgundy bikini with small designs on the seam. Brynn was wearing a yellow one piece, and Annie had on a purple bikini with black bottoms. As a group, all of the girls ran into the beach, crashing into the salty water. It was only a couple second until Johnny and Hayden ran in too.

The cold salty water felt so good on my skin, as I dunked my head underwater. I came back up and almost hit my head on Johnny's. Our faces were inches apart and I could feel his breath tickling my face. Suddenly, an idea popped into my mind. I smirked and went back underwater to find Johnny's leg. When I found it, I pulled on it and he sunk into the water with me. We stared at each other under the water for what felt like hours when it could have only been seconds until he came closer to me. Close enough that our noses were touching. I smiled before crashing my lips into his and him doing the same. We didn't break apart as we rose out of the water. The only thing I noticed were his damp hair in my fingers and how my lips felt tingly as we continued to kiss. Nothing else mattered.

That was until a giant wave crashed into us, sending me backwards, away from Johnny. When I got up, Brynn was staring at us with wide eyes but a smile was touching her lips. I looks at Hayden and Annie but they were to preoccupied with splashing each other.

I glance over at Johnny to see him already looking at me. His hair was flattened on his head and his lips were a slight pink from our small underwater make out session. I could imagine I looked the same.

"Water fight!" Hayden yelled as he splashed Johnny in the face. He reacted quickly and started to do the same to me. Annie came over and jumped on Hayden's back, giggling.

What happened earlier was forgotten as the evening continued. As it got dark, we made a fire and all sat around it. It was fun to just relax and not have a care about anything. Even if the guy I kissed was across from me.

"laaaaalalaaaaalalaaaaalalaaaaa"

"Hayden, shut up." Brynn complained but Hayden continued to "sing". It was almost pitch black and the fire was the only thing giving us light.

"I think I'm going to head back. Its already so late." I say with a smile. I don't know why but everything felt so funny.

"Ill drive you, you're to drunk." Johnny says while standing up and grabbing my hand. He dragged me off but I look back just in time to see Brynn wink at me.

When we get in the car, Johnny starts the engine and drives carefully out of the beach. I take this moment to just think about everything that happened today. Including the kiss.

To my dismay, I liked it. It wasn't like a regular kiss, it was much more... I don't know. It was just so much more special.

And I wanted to do it again.
