Johnny POV
I woke up freezing cold but inside I felt warm. Kenzie was laying beside me, her body curled up against mine. She had the most peaceful and beautiful face when she was asleep.
I realized that we slept on the roof. The blanket was the only thing covering both of us. My first instinct was to wrap Kenzie in my arms but I held myself back, afraid of what this meant.
"Kenz, wake up. We slept on the roof," I shook her awake carefully. She groaned and sat up. Somehow, she still looked as perfect as she did last night.
"Geez, its freezing out here." She shivered under the blanket.
" Lets go inside."
I grabbed her hand and walked back through my window. The enclosed area of heat felt safe and warm.
"Movie day?" I asked, knowing fully well that she would say yes.
"Yes! I need to watch the rest of the Vampire Diaries"
"You can change in here, I'll get ready." I handed her a pair of grey sweatpants and an oversized (for her) black shirt. I left her alone in my room to change as I quickly changed into similar clothes.
I got done quicker than her so I ran downstairs and began making some popcorn. I also grabbed some chocolate chips and sprinkled it on the popcorn. Odd combination, I know, but Kenz and I love it with all of our hearts.
When all the food was done, Kenz came downstairs and sat on the living room couch. It was a long grey coach that spread infront of the tv.
I sat down next to her and grabbed one of our fuzzy blankets placing it over both of us. Finally, warm and drooling over the smell of the popcorn and chocolate, we turned on the Vampire Diaries.
I didn't fancy it as much as she did but I have to hand it to the directors, it's pretty good.
So we stayed like that, eating popcorn and chocolate, wrapped in the biggest fuzzy blanket, watching a tv show about romantic vampires - together.
We were together and I felt the most comfortable and overwhelming sense of peace that I have ever felt in my life. I knew before that I had some feeling for Kenzie, even if I liked to admit it or not. But the past few days have been none other than eye opening.
I know now that I, Johnny Orlando, completely, truly, and honestly love Mackenzie Ziegler.
