Thirty

Hazels POV

My head hurts so much. Maybe the doctors put me on some heavy meds.

I can't move a muscle in my abdomen. It hurts way to much.

"Can you hear me?" someone says as they prop me up and shine a light in my eyes. I was forced to sit up more. It hurt my stomach like hell, but I still don't know what's going on or what happened.

"Can you hear me?" the voice says again as I'm still being blinded by a light.

"Y-yes" I respond, and being handed a glass of ice cold water.

"Do you remember anything?" I look at the name tag on the mans white robe, Dr. Fenzil.

"I went to go get my mail" I said.

"Anything else?"

"Someone put their arm around me and said something, but I forget" I exclaimed.

My mom wasn't in the room, no one was except the doctor and I.

"Ms. Smith, you were stabbed in the lower abdomen 2 times. Lucky for you, your criminal didn't go to deep. We glued 2 inches and stitched the rest. You have 16 stitches & You were also unconscious for 2 days. We think you banged your head on the concrete somehow. It will hurt to eat and move so we'll probably have you stay in the hospital for 2 weeks." he said.

Great. (Sarcasm)

I looked to my left and saw my MacBook on the nightstand beside me.

"Who put that there?" I asked.

"Your mom was here a little while ago and she'll be back this afternoon."

"Oh ok" well that was nice of her. I wonder if my mystery blackmailer is still going at it. Sometimes I wonder if it's Cameron and Carter. I mean I haven't seen em for a while and they weren't real fond of me.

"Oh and someone else stopped by last night" Dr. Fenzil said.

"Do you know who?" I asked.

"It was a young man who seemed terribly upset to see you. I could tell you mean so much to him. I'm sorry but I can't think of his name."

The young man... was it Nash? I can't think if anyone else that it would be.

Well I hope Nash will come back.
