Twenty-five

Hazels POV

"Hi my name is Hazel Smith. What's yours?" I asked.

"Are you kidding me? your THE Hazel Smith from Vine! I'm Nash Grier. Nice to meet you. You're very pretty. Did you know that?"

"You think I'm pretty Mr. Grier?" I ask.

"More than you could imagine" Nash said.

I felt butterflies in my stomach. I knew I was blushing.

"You have the most amazing eyes" oh my gosh, did I say this out loud?

"Why thank you" he said.

He slowly grabbed my hands and interlocked his fingers with mine. Butterflies. Flying in every which way in my stomach.

"I know we basically just met Hazel, but would you like to grab something to eat with me. I guess what im asking is... do you wanna, kinda, sorta-"

"Yeahhh...." I say with a smirk on my face.

"Um do you wanna go on a little date with me?" he said. He seemed so nervous.

"I'd love to!" I say. How can my feelings for Nash shift so much?

We got up from the floor and as he walked out I said, "Nash"

He turned around and I hugged his torso. Nash put his arms around my waist. I love hugs, especially when I'm in his arms.

Nashs POV

"How bout we go to Olive Garden?" I ask.

"Isn't that expensive?" She asked. She's so pretty. I just wish she didn't wear that much makeup. She gorgeous without it.

"My mom gets gift cards from her work so we have a bunch. We basically get to eat for free haha"

"Ok then let's go"

When we got there, we saw a group of girls I've seen from school.

"OMG your Hazel Smith! I go to your school! I'm also in your Phys Ed class." One girl stated to Hazel

"Oh hey! I've seen you guys around before." Hazel said. I stood there awkwardly in the middle of the conversation.

"I'm Mary" she said, "and that's Jessica, Aubrey, Jaden, and Odessa" Mary said to both of us.

"Nice to meet you guys." We said.

One kept staring at Hazel, but Mary introduced us so fast that I forgot who was who. The girl who glared at Hazel didn't look that friendly. We told them we'd catch up with them at school and went to our table.

Dinner was so nice. I didn't ask her much about herself. I'm saving that for later.

"Do you want to go home? I can drop you off or we can just talk some more at my house." I say.

"Wanna go back to your house and talk?" Hazel says.

"Sure"

Hazels POV

We went back to Nash's house and raced up to his room.

He closed his door and said, "let's play 20 questions"

"Ok you first" I say

"Favorite color" he asked.

"Lime green, or turquoise"

After we did 20 questions, I actually found out some things I've never even thought to think about him.

It was time for me to leave.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow, and thanks for dinner." I smiled at him.

He got up and gave me a small kiss on the cheek and pulled me into a hug.

He smells soooooo good. Is that weird? I didn't want him to let go of me.

"I'll see you tomorrow" and he walked me downstairs, and then I left.
