i get into this mindset
where i dig holes
in my mind;
uproot trees
where old love
once grew,
uncover caskets
from graves
of past regrets,
just to place flowers
beside them
and mourn
that they are gone.
i've been digging holes
for so long
i have to wonder:
when will my mind
finally
cave in?
