the doctor asked me
if the world was any clearer
through those lenses,
and i knew what he meant
but still answered no,
the world is still
a fuzzy mess
and i don't even know
if i'm blind
or there are permanent tears,
forming,
but never leaving my eyes.
yes, my vision is clearer.
no, my sight it not.
