what i should tell you
is that i want to kiss you;
could it really be a sin
to want to fall
into the same mouth
that first told me
"i love you,"
the same mouth
of the same person
that convinced me
i could still find the universe
in a single human,
and that the universe inside of them
would always want me in it;
could it really be such a sin
to want to kiss you
as much as i do?
