Unfortunately, much to your dismay, fixing Simon was easier said than done, you were missing parts to help him activate and eventually you threw the towel in and gave up. Connor mentioned to Hank how you felt about the investigation after you spent nearly four hours in the evidence room trying to fix Simon.

Hank, however, was sympathetic, he even went as far as to let you go, avoiding fines and prison sentencing. He seemed to somewhat agree with you on being on the right side. It was nice to witness how much he had grown to see the impact Androids have on one another and that it's their right for freedom too.

Alas, here you were, back in your house, alone for the first time since all this happened. You weren't going to stay for long, you were desperate to get to Jericho and secure yourself on the right side. Rummaging through your drawers you pick up one of the maps to Jericho you usually give out to lost Deviants.

You had calmed down exponentially since having that near breakdown at the station, you were adamant that Connor was nothing more than his programming. Part of you thought otherwise, that part of you knew he was smart and that part of you decided to leave a map to Jericho out in the kitchen with a note for him.

In case he had a change of heart.

You knew deep down it was still possible for him to change, you weren't prepared to hang around and wait for that change when the possibility of a revolution or uprising was looming over everyones head.

Your things were packed, the toolbox, spare parts and Thirium filled your bag mostly. It wasn't much but it was enough for now. Finding Jericho wouldn't be particularly hard per se, the path was created at the benefit of Androids, for a human to find it, it seemed slightly more discouraging. That's why the spot was picked in the first place, out of the way of humans and easily accessible for Androids.

The map you had was easy enough to read on your own, it was customised to help Androids who's sight sense was impacted and couldn't locate the hidden logos in the paintings along the way. To anyone who walked by you would think you were no more than a lost tourist in the city, but if they had the chance to look deeper they'd see you were sporting much more than a simple map.

Not being the parkour master you had intended to be, hauling yourself through some of the obstacles was harder than expected. It was hard to believe that the route the map took you was less physically demanding than the one that required you to follow the symbols. Nonetheless you made it, out of breath, red in the face and muscles cramping, but you made it.

You pocketed the map for safe keeping and continued onto the rusty old freighter. Slight unease filled you, the entire ship seemed like it was about to fall apart at any minute. Guilt took over the unease, you were sending Androids here? It was as if a penny dropped for you, now realising you should've done more to ensure the Deviants were safe and sound.

It was dark, musty and smelt of mould, you could only think of the terrible diseases you could get from being in here a prolonged amount of time. You tread carefully along the damp and slippery floors, unnerved by the unreliable creaking and groaning your footsteps seemed to cause the floor.

The entire situation could be easily compared to a horror movie in your eyes, it was like you almost prepared for some masked killer to come up from behind and stab you relentlessly. The sheer determination to help the Androids was the only thing that kept you going down the stale stench filled path.

Upon hearing voices bounce off the walls, you knew you were close - which was incredibly reassuring for you. In no time your feet led you to an open space, fire-pits lit up the interior with an incredible amount of Androids, more than you initially thought. Slowly but surely you made your way through the area, attempting to not cause stress among the Androids given you were quite clearly, a human.
