Chapter 6: Explanation

A/N: Sorry this is probably going to be a not so good chapter because it will not have Killian's POV only Neal and Emma's.

Neal's POV:

I wanted to stop by Emma and Henry's apartment to say hi. When I got there neither Emma or Henry weren't there. It was kind of awkward waiting for them by myself but I didn't mind. I sat there for about ten minutes before I heard voices in the parking lot of the apartment complex. I went to the window to look out and I saw Emma with Hook. I stood there confused unable to look away. I wish I could have before I saw them kiss. 

Emma got into the apartment about a minute later. Within that minute I stared down at Hook with a vengeance. I turned around when I heard her close the door. Too late she already saw me at the window. 

Emma's POV: 

I was shocked to see Neal in my apartment but staring down at Killian too? I spoke up first,

"Neal! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well," he said, "I wanted to surprise you and Henry but I guess I'm the one who got surprised rather," he finished frowning.

I decide to play dumb just to figure out how much he knew,

"Um, I don't know what you mean," 

"Oh don't you?" he raised his voice a little, "Don't think I didn't just see you kiss that pirate!" 

So he had seen the kiss. Damn it, I thought. 

"Neal, I don't know why you're getting so upset about this. You and I aren't going out anymore so why can't I be around Kil-," I stop myself before saying his name, "Hook?" I finally finish.

"You can I guess but that isn't going to stop me from being jealous! I want you back Emma so we can be a real family! You, me and our son," he yells.

This catches me off guard but I try not to show it. He seems to be calmed down a bit now and he lowers his voice,

"I'm sorry I just blew up on you like that," he says. He tries to make his way over to hug me in apology but I'm already tearing up and I turn away.,

"I think you should just leave Neal," I whisper. 

He looks hurt but he lowers his arms and leaves.

"If you still want to see Henry," I say, "He should be with Regina," 

"Okay, thanks," he replies solemnly. 

Once I heard the door slam I immediately let loose and just cried. Family, he wants his family.

Neal's POV:

I feel bad for upsetting Emma but at the same time I don't. I can't believe she kissed the enemy. I start to make my way toward Regina's home. Once I get there I stop mid-step because someone was already there, Hook. I try to get closer to hear what they're saying but I can't make it out. After about five minutes of talking they shake hands and Hook heads off. Suddenly I don't need to see Henry, all I need to do is follow Hook. I follow him to his home but I didn't stay too far behind and he knew I was there. He turned around,

"Still following me mate? I thought I would have lost you by Gold's, but since you're here I might as well ask what do you want?"

"I want Emma back," I say firmly.

He looked confused, "Well sorry to break it to you mate but we've only been together for a few hours. I would like to enjoy our relationship for at least a day," 

This makes me angry, "I don't care!"

"Well I do and that's something you can't change. If you'd like, her and I are going out to eat tonight you can join us and we can discuss it then but for right now, I need to shine her up," he finishes and  flashes me his hook. He strolls casually inside his apartment leaving me outside. I decide to give it up and leave but this is not a total surrender, I'm going to fight for her and there's nothing he can do about it.

Sorry I'm kind of making Neal seem like a bad guy but I promise I won't keep it that way for the entire thing. STAY SWEET XOXO
