It's something you can't see
but it's there
And I want it to disappear so badly
But it's something I have to wear
It's a constant mask
And why you may ask
It's to protect me
which isn't an easy task
It's helping to become the person society wants to see
No one knows what's behind it
besides my own mind
and I'm trying to hide every single bit
Scared of what you might find

Poesia|| a mess of words || A book featuring my poems. Not all of them are good or amazing, but I wanted to share them anyway. Trigger warning: most of the poems contain mentions of pain.
