*Lexi's Point of View"
I walked into school on the first day not expecting to make any friends since I was new, but right when I walked into my homeroom i was greeted by an overly cheery human being.
"Hi!" She yelled at me from across the room, "you must be the new girl! I'm Lizzie!"
"Er, hi" I said to her, walking over to the seat next to her. "I'm Lexi"
"Oh I know silly" she started hugging me, "okay so here in homeroom we are going to get our schedules, and locker number, then I'll show you where your locker and classes are!"
"Okay" I said smiling at her.
After we got our stuff I showed her my locker number so she could show me where it was, I was only a few down from her but she looked a little scared of bringing me to my locker. We also found out that we had Math, and Physics together during 1st and 3rd block, meaning we also had lunch together.
As we were walking down the hallway towards our lockers she introduced me to a few more people, Brandon and Lucy who were fraternal twins, Jason, Ashley, and Alek, who decided to continue walking with us.
"Er, aren't you girls going a little far for your lockers?" Alek asked us after walking down a long hallway.
"No, actually we aren't" Lizzie said rather sourly.
"They put your lockers near the wall?" Alek asked, sounding almost shocked.
"Correction," started Lizzie, "mines near the wall, Lexi's is right next to it"
"What's wrong with being next to the wall?" I asked them, not completley understanding, I mean yeah the wall divided the humans and the vampires but no one can pass through the wall except on convergence night.
"Being next to the wall means being next to the vampires, that's what's wrong with it" Lizzie told me.
"It's not like they can get through to me, there's a wall" I used a duh tone.
"Whatever" she said to me and stopped at her locker.
"Here, I'll walk you to yours" Alek offered taking my hand.
We walked to my locker and I put everything in with him standing next to me making minimal conversation.
"Hi" a male voice that I didnt recognize said.
I turned to my left, and next to me on the other side was one attractive vampire.
"Hey" I said and smiled at him, which he returned.
"Come on Lexi we should get to class" an irritated Alek said from behind me now that I was facing the vampire.
"Okay," I started to Alek, "I guess I have to go, nice meeting you...."
"Jake" the vampire said.
"Well nice meeting you Jake"
"And nice meeting you princess" and with that he walked away, looking back once to flash me his smile.
