"I'm really alive Feyre," I said gently. A single tear escaped from her grey eyes prompting me to take a step towards her. The three faeries accompanying Feyre tensed at my movement causing me to stop. It hurt to not be able to comfort her, to reassure her after so long of being gone but I knew that it would take time for things to go back to how they used to be. Currently I was an unknown entity, with the nature of my arrival and my appearance, I could easily be perceived as a threat. I understood more than most, the lengths people would go to to protect those that they cared for and I could tell with just a glance that the faeries in the room all greatly cared for one another.

I glanced again at Feyre, seeing that she still had her hand at her throat. Her throat where a familiar pendant lay.
