A/N : This is a rough draft.
~ back to present day

"Just gooo, yoong~ I'll be fine! I promise!" I voice out as I touch to lead him out the coffee shop that I just got accepted to as a cafe waitress.
"Are you sure? I can stay for a bit." He indicates with concern.
His phone beeped again..
I peeked to see it's his friend Taehyung, with the notifications popped up it seemed like he really needed Yoongi at the moment.
I've met Taehyung before, just not as often since we would only have the chance to meet through Yoongi, and frankly, were a bit awkward with each other. He seemed a bit shy with girls in general so Yoongi usually helps him out with dates.
"Look, it's him again. I understand, okay? I'll be fine~ go now, you know this time he might actually score this one and make this girl his official girlfriend." I continue to lead him out.
"Finee, I'll stop by later okay?" He said, assuring me. I nod and watch as he continue to walk out.

I was lucky to be able to work on the same day I got hired. I really needed to do something to take my mind off of everything that's been happening to me in my current life.
The owner said I was fortunate because the last girl they had as a waitress just recently quit for studying reasons, and so I got to use her last uniform, which thank goodness fit. I've been up and down with my weight recently..
They've also been looking for a new part-time worker since apparently it was just three people working at the coffee shop at this time due to the cafe being a bit small, but also it was a hit. So it was busy, but it was also new. It's just a whole confusing thing that would make sense if you try to understand the situation of the owner.
I didn't really mind it.. I mean, it's a busy job now, and I would be making money. I think that would just be enough for now.
Then I was introduced to the other two people I had to work with. It's a boy and a girl. The girl's name is Kim Sohee, she's working on the cashier. While the guy, Park Jimin is working on making the coffee.
My first impression of them was that they look and seem super nice.
I mean, I don't know what kind of coffee shop this is, but the workers look like they could model a make up brand or some sort because their visuals had me shook.
I didn't get to talk to them much. It's just introducing ourselves with one another, and I was mostly talking with Sohee. I would look at Jimin, but he would turn away from me.
I don't know what that's about.
But I guess eventually we will..
☆~
I continue to clean the tables that have been used. It wasn't honestly that difficult considering it's usually just liquid.
However there were spills here and there, and some customers were a bit confusing at times.
But after a while, [like an hour lmao] I started to get the hang of it.
I would mess up sometimes, but Sohee would come and guide me to things.
Then I would see Jimin seeming not to care.
I don't know if whatever it just is, but I start to feel and notice how awkward he is with me.
I just try to ignore him for now, since my main issue is being able to do my job right.
~
A couple hours had passed, and we had our rest break.
Sohee comes to call me on the back where the supplies and stock of coffee are placed. I ask her what's up,
"Nothing, I just wanted to sit here and kind of get to know you." She responds.
"You know we could've chosen a different place." I say.
"Well, we only have a 30 minute break, and this is the place where it the 30 minutes would be used up well." She then continues enthusiastically, "So, how are you hanging so far?"
It seems like an obvious answer.
"Well, I think I'm bad." We both chuckled, "But thanks to you, I think I'm getting there." I look at her with a smile.
"I do have one question though." I say, she looks at me with anticipation.
"Is Jimin pissed off at me or something?" I said in a jokingly manner.
She giggles, "No, no, he's usually a really chill guy." She then moves her head forward to me and lowered her voice,
"It's just that the last girl that worked here, they used to date, but apparently they broke up since she had to go study abroad." I look at her with surprise.
"Why is he taking it out on me though?" I ask with a furrowed brow. She looks at me and paused,
"I have no idea... but trust me, he's really not that bad once you try and get to know him.. "
☆~~
Our break was over, but I decided since it's probably going to be a while that I'll be working with Sohee and Jimin, that I'd try to be friends, or at least not be awkward with both of them.
I think Sohee and I had it going. So, it was just with Jimin.
I mean, it wasn't my fault that his girlfriend and him broke up. Why would he take it out on me?
And there are many more people in this world having even worst problems than him, so he shouldn't take it out on strangers. I mean, what did the stranger even do to him?
Maybe I'm over acting a bit, but I should just at least try to make this situation less awkward.
I'll just fake a "not awkward" thing that I usually do.
I began to approach Jimin, as I hand him the paper that had the order I wrote placed on it.
"Hi Jimin!" I cheerfully say.
"Are you doing okay right now?" He suddenly states, I was taken aback but replied.
"Yes, I'm doing so well! Thank you for asking!" I continued on with my cheerful act.
He looks at me confused.
"I'm sorry, what?" He says, I then notice he has an earpiece on bluetooth.
Oh
My
Goodness
Not only is this awkward, but this takes it to the next level.
Say..
Something...
....
....
...
Seriously.. anything.. say something.
...
...
...
A word would be even fine.. anything.
He continues to look at me confused.
The only thing that would come out in me was..
"I'm sorry." Then just quickly walked away.
