Song choice: "The Schuyler Sisters" , , , , and It's time. Hamilton has taken over (me). Sorry. You'll get your Anastasia soon (I don't know when, but soon after I get the best of Hamilton in).

First day of school. (I went to the Dr. Nyce that week, not sure when. My phone calendar doesn't know). I already knew the school was hot as heck, but Mr. G's room was, as Mom described, the "seventh layer of hell" (that's not cursing).

Anyway, it's September 5, 2017, and I've just stepped off the bus and I was walking into the upper gym (yup, un-air conditioned KV has two gyms. Fun.). I quickly found Tati, Jackie (not my best friend, but we just know each other through Tati), Cecily (Tynan, jk), Beth, and Heather sitting on the close side bleachers, but on the farther end.

I lean over Jackie and Cecily, who are on the ground, to hug Tati and Heather. Beth is a bit farther off, so I just wave to her. I look back at Heather to a see a smirk on her face.

"What's your face about?" I asked.

"You leaned over so awkwardly!" Heather laughed.

I stuck my tongue out at her at sat behind her. But I wasn't actually upset with her; I was glad. She was a comfortable with the brace, like me. My friends didn't seem to care. They barely noticed it. And I was thrilled about it.

At 10:50 (I think? That was a weird day. Seventh and eighth graders would begin class at 11) we were dismissed to homeroom. I departed from my friends to go all the way to the end of the hall, to Mr. G's room.

I quickly found my seat across from Brooke. Luckily, we were seated by last name and Brooke and I were the last two, so we got the last table to ourselves. I adjusted my black and flowered skirt before sitting down and placing my bag next to me.

The day went mostly smoothly from there, other than that I tried to open the wrong locker and was late to math.

I'm going to be honest: I love Social Studies. Well, the history part anyway. But I knew almost no one except for Patience, who I had had two classes with last year.

Mrs.M was arguably my favorite teacher. I wouldn't be able to tell you that on thefirst day, but she really was. For the first class (because she's bad withnames), we said our name; a lot. Little did I know how important I would findthat class in about six months. And then hate one person (maybe myself if notthat person) about four months after that.

I'm back! Sorry for the delay, but I couldn't get on the computer: the computer was taken or I was too busy. Also, I couldn't find my flashdrive (where everything prewritten was saved).

The shore was really fun. I got a lot of sugar. Too many packs of candy cigarettes (the sugar sticks, children), four packs of candy buttons, and two sets of Necco wafers (my favorite. My mimi told me yesterday that they would sell packs of just black licorice Necco wafers. Yuck).

Next chapter will be directly written into Wattpad. I'm just going to give an apology in advance for any grammar mistakes. Pretty please tell me if you see any. I'm messing up as I type this right now. So sorry. See you soon (hopefully)!

(I'm currently jamming to Charming by Amber Gray and Denée Benton. My favorite thing right now because: I can hit the notes and it's just amazing. There's another song suggestion that might accidently come up again. It's from Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812.)
