2) What Just Happened?

LA, California /TFIL MANOR

Elton- My nose twitches and something in the air just doesn't feel right. Sliding off my headphones, I push away from my glitching computer and get up.

Corey- Getting chills down my spine that something catastrophic has happened, I go out to the garage nearly walking into my boyfriend. "Elty...something is wrong."

Elton- Giving Corey a reassuring hug and a kiss on the cheek. "I feel it too, I don't know what it is but I feel it too." Taking his hand we walk into the house, finding complete chaos.

Corey- Katrina and Devyn are huddled into a corner with Aaron and the fur babies. While Jake and Colby stand guard with baseball bats. "What in the world is going on?"

Jake- I point towards the locked windows, with the shades drawn shut. "The world is ending!"

Aaron- "Our worst nightmares have come true...it's the Zombie Apocalypse!"

Colby- Pulling up the latest video on my SnapChat. "The government must have been working on something experimental and it got released into the air."

Corey- I watch Elton go through the Snaps completely horrified, also saddened because most of our friends were already gone. "What are we going to do?"

Elton- I hand Colby back his phone. "The only thing, we can do. We are going to fight." Giving my boyfriend a kiss I go upstairs to our bedroom.

Katrina- We all watch Elton as he disappeared upstairs. "Where is he going?"

Corey- (Smirks) "To retrieve our weapons...what you think Elton and I weren't prepared for something like this?" They all shake their heads.

(Twenty Minutes Later)

Elton- I come back downstairs, going into the dining room and laying a bag on the table. "Corey...Kids, come gather round."

Devyn- We all look at the bag curiously. "What's in the bag?"

Elton- (Smiles Fondly) "Inside this bag, is our way of survival." I open the bag and begin. "You're all gonna need these." I hand them each a certificate.

Corey- I get them each a bag, filled with the basics; Flash light, extra batteries, first aid kit, water, food and two sets of extra clothing.

Aaron- Looking the certificate over. "This is a International Permit."

Elton- (Nods) "Ya, we have no idea how far the Virus spread, so if we run into any one that's immune like us, we need to have it."

Jake- "Good thinking." We all put the permits into the bags Corey gave us.

Elton- Next I pull out weapons of every kind and take the time to explain what they are and how they work. What bullets would work with which and then showed them how to properly use the knives and swords. "I think that pretty much covers everything..." I give them the weapons that best suit them and the extra pieces they need.

Corey- I help to deck them out with war-gear.

(Three Hours Later)

3rd Person P.O.V- TFIL Manor became an impenetrable fort for the dysfunctional family who were armed and ready for a fight.

Elton- Glancing at the time. "Corey and I will take first shift of watch, the rest of you get some sleep."

Aaron, Jake, Devyn, Katrina, Sam and Colby- "Goodnight!"

Corey- (Smiles) "Goodnight." They all go up to their shared rooms. Turning ta Elton. "We need to come up with a game plan, if we stay here we are sitting ducks."

Elton- I give my lover a kiss. "I know, I'll think of something." With plans formulating in the back of my mind, Corey and I come up with a game plan and split up. He takes the back yard which is safest, while I take the front. (Mutters Softly) "He's right we need to leave, staying here isn't safe by any means."
