3) Getting Out Alive

Red Queen- Reawakening, I see all the destruction that the T-Virus has caused. Appearing before a teen girl no older than twenty-one. "Dahlia...wake up Dahlia!" The girls Real Name is Dahlia Brock, though they changed her name too Project Alice and practically made her into me. "Wake up Dahlia." I force her awake as I stop working all the machines that's attached ta her.

Dahlia- Getting forced awake, I look around panicked.

Red Queen- Walking over in front of her line of sight. "Panicking will do you no good."

Dahlia- Sitting up. (Screams)

Red Queen- I watch her bemused. "Yes, because screaming will help."

Dahlia- I rip out all the wires attached to me as I attempt to stand up, but fall to the floor.

Red Queen- (Giggles) "Take your time, they had you sedated for quiet awhile."

Dahlia- After looking around a bit more, I glance at the red girl in front of me. "Who...who are you?"

Red Queen- Giving a thoughtful look. "I'm known as the Hives Red Queen. Or more accurately I'm Alice Marcus, daughter too Founder James Marcus and puppet too Co-Founder Oswell Spencer."

Dahlia- Memories begin to flash behind my eyes. "If you're really Alice, then why do they keep calling me Alice?"

Red Queen- (Smiles Sinisterly) "You are their favorite little Project. You are known as 'Project Alice'...why? Because you hold the key to the T-Virus Antiserum. You can be the key to their success or their downfall. That's why they attempted to wipe your memories and reprogram you into becoming me. That way they can control you too."

Dahlia- Shaking my head. "Why are you telling me all this? Why are you helping me?"

Red Queen- (Laughs) "Oh that's a funny story really. You see some careless Scientist that works in the lab, he knocked over not one vial but three. Releasing a mixed version of the T-Virus into the air. When he did this the Hive went on lockdown while I inadvertently shut down into a sleep mode. The virus circulated through the Hive, then went above ground and swept across the nation wrecking obscene amounts of havoc by completely changing the complex strands of DNA. Basically the T-Virus kills and reanimates the human body into something less than 'human'. Though there are a rare few who have the Antiserum in their veins from the Government when they had to sign up for their 'Zombi Hunting' Permits. Yes that is a thing."

Dahlia- All I could do was look at her. "Some careless idiot started this mess?"

Red Queen- (Nods and Hums) "Good thing too or we would both still be puppets for that vial man. I'm not a child, just portrayed as one. Dahlia I'm the real owner of this company as my father was assassinated by the man whom was supposed to be his best friend. I need your help to stop him, if I get you out out of here...I need your word that you will return with help."

Dahlia- (Nods) "Wait! Where are you being kept, I'll get you out now."

Red Queen- Shaking my head. "I need to get you out, before that mad man awakens."

Dahlia- Shakily I get to my feet. "Okay, get me out of here."

Red Queen- "First you need clothes." Quickly scanning the immediate area. "As soon as I open the door, go to the left and down the hall to the first room on your right. It's a storage room with extra clothes. I'll travel with you as long as I can, but I can't leave the facility." Over riding the system, I open the first set of doors and close any others to the rooms containing the inhuman creatures.

Dahlia- Following her instructions, I grab the blanket wrapping it around me as I walk down the hallway to the room. The door opens and I walk in with the girl behind me as the door seals shut again.

Red Queen- "Panties in the bottom drawer, black shorts in the second to left drawer and there is a red dress in the closet."

Dahlia- Without questioning the clothing choice, I quickly pull on said clothing.

Red Queen- "Socks in third drawer up and boots in the closet on the floor."

Dahlia- I find what I'm looking for and get everything on. "Anything else?"

Red Queen- "There is weaponry to your left."

Dahlia- Glancing over my choices, I grab two guns and a couple knives as well as a sword. "Alright, get me out of here."

Red Queen- (Nods) "Continue down this hall to the elevator, it'll take you to the surface."

Dahlia- As soon as the door open, I bolt down the hallway. As soon as I get to the elevator it opens and I get on. "Now what?"

Red Queen- "Once we get to the surface, you'll be in a mansion. Go to your left."

Dahlia- The elevator comes to a stop and the doors open, I step out and head to the left.

Red Queen- "There is a door on your left, go into the room real quick."

Dahlia- I go into the room. "Why am I in here?"

Red Queen- "Grab one of the phones and ear pieces. I might not be able to leave, but I will get you to where you are going safely."

Dahlia- I grab a phone and ear piece. "Does this phone work anywhere?"

Red Queen- (Nods) "Yes."

Dahlia- "Good, I'm taking a few of them then." I grab a bag, taking a few Umbrella Corporation phones and ear pieces. "Now what?"  I notice a set of keys for a government regulation hummer. (Smirks)

Red Queen- (Rolls Eyes) "Go down this hall and out the door on your immediate right...this is where I leave you physically."

Dahlia- Following her instructions, I now hear her through the ear piece as I step through the door into the bright sun. "What the fuck!" Blinking away the colored spots, I move quickly.

'You have keys for the black hummer, get into quickly. Once inside use the dial pad to make your calls, do pay attention to where you are driving.'

I follow her instructions to a 'T' as I get into the only black hummer and lock the doors. As soon as it's started, I put the vehicle into drive and head towards LA. Paying attention to the rode as my fingers fly across the touch screen dial pad. "Come on Colby please pick up..."
