6) The Hive

Raccoon City, California

Elton- I follow the instructions given by the Red Queen, driving through all the destruction and arriving in Raccoon City a little before sundown.

Katrina- Driving across city lines, we don't see a single person. 'Alive or Undead'

Devyn- (Mutters) "Ghost Towns..."

Corey- (Frowns) Looking out the window as Elton drives my eyes wandering, committing everything to memory. Seeing all the shattered glass, charred buildings that have turned to rubble, flipped vehicles that are collided into piles. "All these lives ruined, because of some corrupt people."

Aaron- "Wasn't this originally an accident?"

Jake- (Snorts) "Since when is Chemical Warfare an accident and didn't the Red Queen say the puppet master whom assassinated her father is corrupt as fuck?"

Katrina- (Scowls) "That was rather insensitive Jake."

Devyn- (Frowns) "Ya, very insensitive."

Corey- Glancing back through the rear view mirror, I notice Colby is holding his twin and the both of them are staying out of the current debate. (Sighs Softly)

Spencer Manor

Elton- Pulling into the long driveway, I pull up too the back and park the hummer. "Alright, we are here."

'Dahlia will have to get you through the Mansion. I have eyes and ears, but no control. You will have to get past any Security on your own and you will need a Level 1 Security Pass in order to access the elevator. Move quickly, there are undead lurking around the perimeter that they feed.'

Corey- Glancing back at all the kids. "Have your bags?"

Aaron, Jake, Katrina, Devyn, Sam and Colby- (Nods) "Yep."

Elton- Grabbing the leash for Circa I get out first, baseball bat at the ready.

Corey- Taking a deep breath I get out next standing beside my boyfriend, dagger in hand at the ready.

Aaron- Grabbing the leash for Buddy I get out, battle-axe in hand.

Jake- I get out right behind my boyfriend, pocket knife in hand.

Katrina- I get out first a baseball bat in my hands at the ready.

Devyn- The leash for Navi tightly in one hand and a dagger in the other I get out next, standing right beside my girlfriend.

Sam- I get out behind the girls a sword in hand.

Colby- Getting out behind my boyfriend, I've got a sword in hand.

Dahlia- I get out last and shut the door. Giving them all a strange look. (Whisper Yells) "For fucks sakes, you can't run with weapons in your hands put them away."

Elton- (Nods Agreeingly) "Right, good point." We all place our weapons within hands reach on our persons and along the back patio.

Sam- Glancing around, I notice all the security cameras. (Whispers) "How we getting in, without getting caught?"

Dahlia- "The same way I got out, right next to the Security Office, that way we can help Alice reboot the system up here."

3rd Person P.O.V- One, by one the group and three dogs snuck past the cameras and got into the back door, which inadvertently led them right by the Security Office.

Elton- Handing Circa's leash off ta Corey, I sneak into the office and take out the guard.

Dahlia- While Elton is dealing with the guard, I hook up an extra cell phone to the main computer. "Alright Alice...do your thing and make it quick!"

Elton- I notice the screens flash a bunch of colors. "Let's get out of here."

Dahlia- (Nods Agreeingly) Elton and I rush out of the office. "This way, let's go." Following the path that I remember, a little too well, from when I lived here. I get everyone to the elevator as the doors slide open.

Elton- Scanning the immediate area, I notice a bunch of guards heading our way. "Everyone in." Once inside, the elevator doors seal and we go down.

Katrina- "So we are now in the Hive?"

Dahlia- (Nods) "Yes."

Devyn- "How do we find Alice?"

3rd Person P.O.V- Suddenly the elevator stops and the hologram of a red little girl appears.

Red Queen- "You are all going to die down here..."

Aaron- We all press move and press against each other against the back wall, trying to put as much space between us and the freaky hologram figure. "What?"

Jake- "What the fuck is going on? Colby, did your sister bring us here to die?"

Colby- (Growls) "Shut up Jake!"

Elton- (Sighs) "None of us are going to die."

Dahlia- "Remember the Red Queen is a supercomputer; multiple people can have control protocols, we just have to over ride them."

Corey- "So, what does that mean for our mission?"

Dahlia- "It means we have to reboot the supercomputer without getting killed, get past the undead that still roams these corridors, take out a corrupt lunatic who wants to take over the world, rescue Alice and create the Antiserum to the T-Virus."

Colby- "That all?"

Dahlia- (Hums Thoughtfully) "Yep."

Elton- "Right, sounds easy enough."

3rd Person P.O.V- Suddenly the elevator doors slide open, making everyone grab for their weapons.

Elton- Quickly coming up with a game plan. "Aaron, Jake, Katrina and Devyn I want the four of you ta stick together. Your mission is too take out as many of the undead as possible and find Alice."

Aaron, Jake, Katrina and Devyn- (Nods) "On it!"

Elton- "Corey, Sam, Colby, Dahlia you are with me and we will worry about conquering all the other tasks."

Dahlia- "Our first task should be the supercomputer reboot, then the Antiserum, we'll worry about the Lunatic after."

3rd Person P.O.V- Both groups split up and go in separate directions, set on doing their tasks.
