4) Family Matters

TFIL MANOR

(Phone Rings)

Colby- (Groans) Rolling over, I pick up my phone without looking at the caller ID and answer it. "Hello?"

'Thank god, for a moment I thought you wouldn't answer!'

Quickly sitting up, I rub at my eyes. "Dahlia?"

'It's me brother...I know we haven't talked in ages and I have a lot of explaining to do and the Zombie Apocalypse is probably not the best time for explanations, but that's why I'm actually calling. I need your help!'

I check the time and see that it's nearing 4:00am. "Where are you at?"

'I crossed three different City lines and am in LA now.'

Getting out of bed, I pull on the first pair of ripped jeans I could find and matching shirt. "Alright..." I give her the address. "See you in a bit right?!"

'You know it!'

Hanging up, I pull on some socks and slide into my shoes.

Sam- Startled awake by my other half, I listen to the one sided conversation and watch as he rushes to get dressed. "Colby what's going on?"

Colby- Crawling on the bed, giving Sam a kiss. "Remember when you asked me about that picture I keep in the top drawer of my dresser?"

Sam- (Nods) "The picture of you, a girl and your little brother Gage. What about it?"

Colby- "That girl Sam is my twin sister."

Sam- "Oh."

Colby- "You know how I said that it's a touchy subject, because no one in my family has seen my twin since she dropped out of high school her second ta last year?"

Sam- (Nods Sleepily)

Colby- "That was her just now. That was my sister." I give Sam a look. "Wanna come downstairs with me and be one of the first to meet her?"

Sam- (Smiles and Nods) I quickly get dressed in a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a matching shirt, pulling on socks and shoes.

(DownStairs)

Colby- I turn on the coffee.

Sam- Sitting at the kitchen island. "So where has she been all these years?" Before Colby could answer Elton and Corey practically appear out of thin air.

Corey- Elton and I walk into the kitchen from the garage. "Why are you two up and where has who been?"

Elton- Going over to the newly made coffee, I make us all a cup. (Hums Contently) "Yes, why are you two up and dressed."

Colby- Taking a few sips of my coffee. "My twin she's been AWOL a year before Sam and I graduated High-School. That's why we are up and dressed because she just called and I gave her directions here."

Elton- I look at the brunette disapprovingly. "You should have ran it by me first."

Colby- "Either she came here or I left to go meet her." I get a text. "She's here." Taking Sam by the hand, we rush to the front door and I swing it open.

Sam- My jaw hits the ground when I see the hummer. "Dude!" Colby and I rush too the gate, opening it for her.

Colby- As soon as Dahlia pulls in, Sam and I shut the gate once more. "Dahlia?"

Dahlia- Shutting the hummer off, I get out and immediately go to my brother wrapping my arms around his waist. "Colby!"

Colby- Wrapping my arms around my sisters neck. "Dahlia, I've missed you so much."

Dahlia- Returning the long overdue affection, I glance into his blue eyes. "Colby, I'm so sorry."

Colby- Resting my hands on her cheeks. "Sorry for what?"

Dahlia- "Pulling you and your friends into this mess."

Colby- "You up and disappeared...whatever this mess is, it's bigger than just you." Turning her around. "I want to introduce you too my boyfriend Samual Goldbach, as well as Elton Castee and his boyfriend Corey Scherer."

Dahlia- (Smiles and Waves)

Sam- (Smiles Brightly and Waves)

Corey- "Welcome to TFIL MANOR."

Elton- (Nods) "Yes, you'll meet the others later when they awaken. Come on inside, where it's safer."

Colby- I grab my twins hand as we follow Elton into the manor. "What do you think?"

Dahlia- Looking around the huge manor. "I can't believe you live here."

Colby- (Nods) "Yep." Leading her down the hall towards the kitchen, we are mauled by three hyper puppies. (Chuckles)

Sam- (Laughs) "These are everyone's fur babies; Circa, Navi and Buddy."

Dahlia- (Smiles) After giving them some love, I take Colby's hand once more as he leads me into the kitchen.

Corey- We all sit around the kitchen island, though before anything can be said everyone else starts filtering in.

Elton- (Smirks) "Good morning kids." I get various looks and mumbled 'Good mornings'

Corey- (Chuckles)

Colby- I notice all the curious looks my sister is garnering. "Alright, I get it she's a shiny new toy...stop staring!" Everyone immediately looks away.

Jake- Not having the balls to look at the girl again. (Whispers) "Who is she?"

Colby- I obviously heard the idiot. "My twin sister." That definitely garners the two of us some looks.

Dahlia- (Giggles) "Yep shocking I know. Everyone always questioned if we were really twins even our parents, but yes were are twins. Colby looks like our father, I look like our mother and Gage looks like a combination of them both." That shut them up, from asking any more of those questions at least for the time being.

Colby- Gesturing to those gathered. "I would now like to introduce you too Aaron and Jake as well as Katrina and Devyn. Everyone this is my twin sister Dahlia."

Elton- Corey and I make breakfast as they all get aquatinted.

(Thirty Minutes Later)

Sam- Eating a piece of pancake. "Dahlia, you told Colby that you had to explain this mess?"

Dahlia- Suddenly all eyes are on me. "Ya, about that."
