13) Reconnection

3rd Person P.O.V- A lot has changed in such a short amount of time; for instance those that were affected by the mixed strain of T-Virus have long since been cured. All the damage done (Charred buildings, broken glass and wrecked vehicles) everything has slowly been rebuilt to what it once was and everybody driving around in new cars living their lives, living like nothing catastrophic has happened. Another big change is that the Umbrella Corporation has been permanently shut down and Alice willingly moved into a hospice care facility.
Life was beginning to look up again, but nothing can stay good for long now can it?

Three Months Later

Dahlia- I haven't been feeling very good lately, so instead of telling anyone in the house I schedule a doctors appointment and take my best friend.

(One Hour Prior)

Dr Yin- (Smiles Brightly) "Congratulations, you're pregnant!" I hand her friend a copy of the blood work results. "Would you like to find out how far along you are?"

Bradley- Before Lia could say anything. "Yes!"

Dr Yin- I gesture for the girl to lay back as I pull over the machine and put some gel unto the wand and gently run it across her belly. (Hums) "Three months." I clean the girl up and print her out a copy of the sonogram. "I would like to see you every two weeks and here is a list of prenatal vitamins you will need to get. Have a good day."

Corner Drug Store

Dahlia- Bradley and I slowly walk the isle's until I find the needed vitamins. (Sighs)

Bradley- Setting a couple bottles into the cart. "Want to tell me what happened and maybe who the lucky daddy is?"

Dahlia- Going down a different isle I grab a flavored water. "Funny story. Remember the Zombie Apocalypse?"

Bradley- I think for a few moments. (Nods) "Ya."

Dahlia- (Sighs Heavily) "I used to work for the Umbrella Corporation. I was Private Security for Alice Marcus, until Oswell Spencer began experimenting on me. For the longest time I was made to believe I was Alice." Going down another isle, I get a bunch of fresh mixed fruits. "Bradley, I don't know who the daddy is, because I doubt the daddy exists. I've always been a living experiment to Oswell Spencer, especially when he created the T-Virus and began using it on me, I was the only one immune and he knew I was the key to the Antiserum."

Bradley- I was easily following along, but I wanted to make sure I had it all straight. "Let me see if I processed this right. You underhandedly saved the world and took down one of the most corrupt corporate officials...."

Dahlia- (Nods) "Yes."

Bradley- "You're also a living test subject carrying a test tube baby."

Dahlia- (Sighs) "Apparently."

Bradley- (Smirks) "Wicked!"

Dahlia- (Rolls Eyes) "Only you Bradley..."

Bradley - "Are you going to keep the baby?"
