Television may not be social media,
But nothing is as it seems.
I'm never happy but always smile,
So take, for example, me.Television has no feelings.
I, however, do.
The television says mean things,
But I'm too conservative to be rude. The television is perfect,
I will always be flawed.
The television never has to try,
But I do, so I'm a fraud.Television made me a person of static
Hidden behind it's lies.
Everyone thinks I'm happy
But I'm the one that drowns in sobs and cries.Television makes me weak
So I pretend that I'm still strong.
How I look will always be more important
Rather than if something is wrong. No one really cares about me
As long as I bat my fake eyelashes.
That's the reason I go to television.
They see me even if it's them that turns me into ashes.I'm pretty on the outside,
But surgery can make me complete.
I'll tattoo my makeup over scars and tear stains
And I'll never stop to eat.Television gave me depression.
I'm walked on like a rug.
The one thing television and I have in common,
Is that given the choice, I'd pull the plug.

PoetryJust a collection of poems I wrote, most have darker themes, so here's your angst/trigger warning if you need it. I write these on a pc so if the format looks weird on your phone that's probably why.
