Photography is a moment captured from intentions,
Drawing is a skillset derived from meditation,
Writing is a world created of patience,
Painting is a vision made from dreams.
But the moments are developed from negatives,
The skillset grows off of time,
No world is perfect,
And the visions can blind you.
This doesn't mean they're bad.
The blur can look conceptual,
Quickly sketched lines can have a nice curve,
Good books can still be printed with a missed typo,
Some art is simply a beautiful clutter.
It's your choice to rip up the film,
Erase the lines,
Scrap the story,
Or paint the canvas white.
If you fail, you are not a failure.
If you mess up, you are not a mess.
If you wreck something, you are not a wreck.
You are not your mistakes.
A lot depends on perception.
One grows love and the other breeds hate.
It's these traits we base our observations on.
Perfection and deception, both which fully exist.
The first is what the second says,
Because perfection is limited and varies from person to person.
The second is what the first says,
Because deception is just what doesn't fit into our own view.
One cannot exist without the other.
Your wins will only be defined by past losses.
Your art may be similar to someone else's but it is not the same.
It may be ugly to you but beautiful to others.
You just have to surround yourself with people who believe it's beautiful.

PuisiJust a collection of poems I wrote, most have darker themes, so here's your angst/trigger warning if you need it. I write these on a pc so if the format looks weird on your phone that's probably why.
