Have You Ever

Have you ever loved someone so much that you don't know if it's a crush or not?

Have you ever had such a fixation with said person that you're not sure if it's getting stronger from jealousy or from loneliness?

Have you ever wondered if it isn't from those things at all, but because of something you can't even admit to yourself subconsciously?

Have you ever pushed that thought aside because it doesn't make sense for it to be from anything else?

Have you ever broken down during the middle of the day because you thought you did something wrong to make them avoid you?

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep at night for the same reason?

Have you ever wished to never let them go, even if you have to settle for simply holding their hand instead of wrapping your arms around them like you want?

Have you ever smiled over the thought of you two doing domestic everyday things together?

Have you ever gotten lost in a daydream just from thinking about the way their face highlights their freckles like fairy lights when their pretty lips curl into a smile?

Have you ever felt like they're the only person you truly have left in the world?

Have you ever turned into a blushing, giggling mess because of the way their words put that idiotic smile on your face?

Have you ever attempted genuine support as best you can so they wouldn't see the pang of envy seeping into your blood?

Have you ever been afraid they'd forget about you or leave because they found someone better?

Have you ever dreamed about how soft their hair and skin and lips would feel under your touch?

Have you ever been willing to give up everything for them?

Have you ever done it?

Have you ever felt like you were moving on from all that?

Have you ever felt that a part of you still wants to be by their side no matter what happens or what you feel?

Yeah.

It kinda sucks sometimes.
