Do you know the feeling of jealousy? Have you ever experienced it? Of course, we all have, haven't we? At some point in life, we've all felt it-whether it's about a friend or a lover. Anushka was experiencing the same thing at present. She was jealous of the girl clinging to Virat. She couldn't stand their proximity. If she could, she would have pulled Virat away from the girl, not letting them hug each other. Alas, she couldn't. She had no right to do so, after all.Virat, whose eyes had been on Anushka all this time, could clearly tell she was jealous. How? It wouldn't take a genius to figure it out by the way she was behaving. And to tell the truth, Virat was enjoying it. Anushka looked cute with that scowl on her face.
After the girl broke away from the hug, Virat directed her to the car. She was a friend of his from university. They had studied together during their undergraduate years. Her name was Ashritha Nair. It was Ashritha who had called Virat to pick her up when Virat and Anushka were in the parking lot. Before that, when Virat had been on the phone with Anushka, Ashritha had been the girl with him. They were planning a reunion with their friends.
As Virat and Ashritha approached the car, he noticed that Anushka wasn't sitting in the passenger seat. Instead, she was sitting in the back.
Virat cursed under his breath. The situation was worse than he had imagined. One look at Anushka, and anyone could tell she was *not pleased*. In fact, saying she was "not pleased" didn't capture it; she was angry.
Ashritha looked into the backseat and saw Anushka sitting there. Anushka looked somewhat familiar to her. She was sure she had seen her somewhere before, but she couldn't quite remember where.
Virat knocked on the car window to get Anushka's attention. Until then, Anushka had been busy playing QuizUp on her phone and hadn't noticed Virat and Ashritha standing there. It was only when Virat knocked that she looked up.
Anushka immediately opened the door and stepped out of the car.
"Swati, this is Ashritha, my friend. And Ashritha, this is Swati, my new friend," Virat introduced the two women to each other.
Ashritha and Anushka smiled and shook hands, though there seemed to be some hesitation between them. Virat noticed it.
All of a sudden, something clicked in Ashritha's mind.
"Swati?" Ashritha asked, her mind full of questions. She needed answers.
"Yes," Anushka smiled.
Ashritha was confused. Isn't she Anushka Sharma? Of course, she was. Ashritha had seen her on TV many times. Her father was the famous Bollywood superstar Arav Sharma, and her brother Anshul Sharma was also an emerging star. Ashritha knew all this. She was a fan of both Arav and Anshul.
She looked at Virat and then back at Anushka. What she couldn't understand was why Virat had introduced Anushka as Swati. She had no idea about the lies Virat and Anushka had told each other.
"Virat, I have a question," Ashritha said.
"What?"
"Why did you refer to her as Swati? She's Anushka, not Swati," Ashritha said, thinking there was some misunderstanding. She wanted to clear it up.
