|18| Jealousy is a sign of love.

It's been a week since Anushka came back home. Neither Anshul nor Anushka did inform anything about Anushka's accident to their parents. When their mother had questioned Anshul about his prolonged stay, Anshul dodged her question by saying that he wanted to be there with his sister. In that way, he was able to spend some quality time with his sister and girlfriend.

As Anshul is a popular actor, he has to be away from his family and friends for a long time while shooting movies. He didn't even remember about the last time when he had spent some quality time with Giya and Anushka.

Talking about Giya, Anshul and Giya has been busy these days in chalking out plans in order to make Virat and Anushka to confess about their feelings to each other. Everyone in their group knew about what the two of them feel for each other. Only Virat and Anushka, who should have actually known about it in the first place, have no clue regarding what the other feels.

Siddharth and Hridaan suggested Giya that they could take help of Ashritha if she agrees. All of them knew about how Anushka got all jealous that day when Ashritha had come to meet Virat. Even now, they can ask Ashritha to pretend to get attracted towards Virat. This would then trigger Anushka to become jealous and her jealousy would end up acting as a catalyst in making bher confess for Virat.

The plan that they had chalked out by the end of their discussion was that when Anushka would join the publishing house again after 5 days, she would find Ashritha working in her place. Ashritha would lie that she's appointed as the assistant editor in lieu of Anushka by Virat himself. This would definitely anger Anushka, but more than that, it would make her jealous. Anushka wouldn't say anything to Ashritha but she will definitely call Virat immediately after hearing that. Going by her character trait of how she easily believes what the people she know say, she'd definitely believe Ashritha's words and would not even argue with Virat about it as she hardly gets into any kind of arguments with people. Anushka would try to resign from the publishing house and this would be the final nail to make Virat to lose his patience and hence confess his feelings. Once Virat confesses, Anushka would confess her feelings too. It was basically Hridaan who came up with the plan and narrated it to Siddharth, Giya and Anshul later on. Siddharth on the other hand, talked with Ashritha about their plan, asking her if she'd help them or not. Ashritha readily agreed to help because even she wanted Virat and Anushka to come close.

Anshul was initially in doubt thinking about what would happen if their plan backfires and instead of bringing them close to each other, they end up creating a rift between the two of them. Giya, however, assured him that their plan wouldn't backfire, and even if it did somehow, they'd reveal about their plan to Virat and Anushka.

Next week, Virat will be going to Boston to attend a business conference alongwith Hridaan and Siddharth. Anushka would be here in L.A. itself. This distance would definitely make the love-birds yearn for each other more and that is why their gang of friends had decided to implement their plan on Thursday ie after five days.

Five days later..

Anushka is very happy today because she'll finally be able to go out of her apartment today. Even though she would join her classes from next Monday only, she'd go to the publishing house from today itself. Virat wouldn't be there with her today as he has gone to Boston. Thinking about Virat, she smiled at the memory of how Virat took care of her in all these thirteen days. He even temporarily shifted to her apartment and stayed in the guest room. Anushka was sure by now that her feelings for Virat are really strong. She was sure that s̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶s̶ , no strike it. She was sure that she has fallen in love with Virat. She even thought of confessing about her feelings to him so many times, but then again stopped, thinking that he may not feel the same for her.
