“She really loves you I wish I had a love story like that” I said.
“Think twice before you wish who knows sometimes it will come true” Sid said.
We were sitting on the beach it was not an accidental meeting I guessed that he would come here like last time and came here obviously I didn’t tell him the truth.
“I want my wish to come true, tell me something is it true that you didn’t use to believe in marriage?” I said.
“I still don’t believe in the concept of marriage” Sid said.
“But you have a girlfriend” I said.
“And that’s the problem” Sid said.
“Sid you don’t realise how lucky you are to have such a beautiful and wonderful girlfriend and look at me a guy don’t even flirt with me” I said.
“Girls like you are not made for flirting but for love” Sid said looking straight into my eyes.
God I felt in love with him all over again after that dialog.
“What are you looking at?” Sid asked. That’s when I realised I was looking at him for long time.
“Nothing” I said.
“Lali so you never fell in love with anyone right?” Sid asked.
“Yes my bad” I said.
“Are you are so beautiful so cute why don’t you have a boyfriend?” Sid asked.
“I don’t know maybe something is wrong with me” I said.
“That’s rubbish you are just perfect” Sid said.
“You think so?” Sid asked.
“Of course” Sid said.
“I think we can be friends” I said.
“We are friends already we should meet often” Sid said.
“Really that’s so sweet of you” I said.
“It’s really late I think we should get going” Sid said.
“Ya you don’t have your bike right, so I will drop you” I said.
“OK” Sid said.
Friend I never had a true friendship after I had a huge fight with my best friend Lakshmi and now this guy is asking me to be his friend. OK I love him but he will never love me back because he loves Meena. But at least this friendship will keep me close to him. I promise to myself that I will be a true friend and like that for the first time my heart and brain agreed on one thing.

“These classes just suck” I said.
“I agree with you” Alisha said.
“I feel like going to the library again” I said.
“What do you get by going to the library all the time?” Alisha asked.
“Pease” I said.
We were walking through the corridors of collage and we were approaching a turning when I suddenly stopped as I realise someone was coming from the other side after I realised what just happened I looked at the guy who I was going to crash onto. I froze at my place as I saw that cute and charming face once again.
“Hi Lali” Sid said.
“Sid you study in the same collage?” I asked confused.
“Of course I do I am in the senior batch” Sid said.
“Oh wow” I said.
“How do you know Sid?” Alisha asked.
“Hmm....I.....met him that day with Meena” I said.
“Oh!” Alisha said.
“I think we should go, bye Sid” I said and rushed out of there.

“Sid, why did you wanna meet me at this hour?” I asked.
It was the first time Sid had called me and said he wanted to meet me during the break.
“I need your help” Sid said.
“For what?” I asked.
“My English communications skills are very week and when I asked everyone they said you are an expert in English so can you help me learn?” Sid asked.
“I am public speaker so it’s appease of cake for me of course I will help you” I said.
“Thank you so much” Sid said.
“So when do you wanna start?” I asked.
“Anytime you wish” Sid said.

“Sid, how will you learn if you don’t concentrate?” I asked. We were sitting in the canteen and I was helping him to improve his communication.
“I am sorry yar but I am least interested in all this” Sid said.
“Then why do you wanna learn?” I asked.
“I wanna impress Meena this time with good communication skills have you heard her talk it’s so amazing I don’t wanna make a fool out of myself in front of her” Sid said.
“Sid if she really love you she will accept you the way you are” I said.
“Oh really ! If you were at her place will you accept me the way I am?” Sid asked.
Now how will I tell him I have already accepted him no matter how he is like?
“Of course” I said trying my best not to show my feelings in my words. I have to keep this friendship drama going.
“Lali what the hell are you doing here?” Aswani who just came there asked.
“I.....I....was....just....” I fumbled with my words I was nervous and I didn’t knew what to say.
“You should be practicing right now” Aswani said.
“What practice?” Sid asked.
“For the speech competition which is to be held tomorrow and she is my team” Aswani said.
“It’s OK I am all set see this” I said as I took out a piece of paper from my bag and showed it to Aswani.
“What is this?” She asked.
“Speech” I said.
“You already wrote it and that too without my help” Aswani said.
“Yes I did” I said.
“Let me see that” Aswani said as she took the paper from me.
“You didn’t tell me you have competition” Sid said.
“It’s just a competition” I said.
“No it’s your big day, I am gonna help you practice OK” Sid said.
“OK as you wish” I said there were butterflies in my stomach.
“Not bad but if the presentation is not perfect this is going to be a only a waste of time” Aswani said.
“I will take care of that” I said.
“Let’s see” Aswani said and walked out of there.

“With this I would like to conclude my words, Thank you” I said and I saw Sid clapping. We were doing a final rehearsal for the speech competition which is to be held within a couple of hours.
“You are amazing yar just amazing” Sid said.
“Thank you” I said.
“I think you should go I don’t want you to get late for the competition” Sid said.
“OK then bye” I said and stood up Sid also stood up and extended his hand and said.
“Good luck”
I shook hands with him his touch sends shivers down my spine. I became nervous not because of the competition but because of him I fell in love with him all over again.
“I should go” I said and walked out of there.
The competition went well and we won. I am really happy not because of the competition but because I was happy because Sid was in my life and I was enjoying spending time with him. I have never felt this Kind of happiness ever in my life I was really happy. Really, really happy I don’t want anything else now.
