2004
It happened in the year 2004 Lali di was in class 4 I still don't know how I remember all this I was too young that time, but Lali di remember that day correctly. That day Lali di had come back home without a first rank for the first time her parents thought she was distracted.
"But didn't you study well"
"Of course mom I studied well" Lali di was saying when I entered her house to call her for seeing a TV program together.
"Aunty, can we go to my home for a while?" I asked.
"Not today Meena" Lali di's mother said.
"But why mom?" Lali di asked.
"You study first" She said.

2 years later,2006

2 years later Lali di was in class 6 her marks have messed up high times she had just passed the mid- term exams her parents now had started beating her up and forcing her to study.
"Hello..............what the hell are you talking about...................I don't understand a thing........................no wait.............hello........hello....." Lali di was talking through the phone we were sitting in my room she was wearing a red color night dress.
"What happened di, who had called?" I asked.
"It's my friend Lakshmi we had a massive fight" Lali di said and buried her face in her hands.
"Why? What happened?" I asked.
"I don't know she is not telling me the actual reason" Lali di said.
"That's weird" I said.
Lali di didn't say anything she just hugged me and cried.

5 years later,2011

Year 2011 Lali di had passed class 10'Th with a normal 75%. During these years di's parents had accepted the fact that their daughter cannot do anything in her life and she cannot take care of them.
"But mom please no..........Don't do this" Lali di pleaded to her parents with tears in her eyes.
I came to congratulate her but there was some drama going on in her home.
"Why don't you understand your marks are too low OK and it is luck that you got admission in such a good school" Aunty was saying.
"Meena" di said as she saw me.
"Hi di, I don't think it is a good time to talk" I said.
"No it is nothing like that" Di said as she walked out of the house.
I followed her.
*
Both of us sat there in my home.
"What happed di?" I asked.
"Disaster" She said.
"Tell me no" I said
"I got admission for commerce" She said.
"That doesn't sound like a disaster to me, it's quite good actually" I said.
"I don't wanna study commerce" She said.
"Dose it even matter? Just do what your parents say if it makes them happy" I said.
"It matters to me" She said.
"Di from the day you were born you have made yours parents upset, They believe that you will never get anywhere in life, why are you trying to prove them right?" I asked.
"You are right but what about my dreams what I wanna do?" She asked.
"Di this is India not America people hear only care about earning money no one cares how much you love the way you make money OK commerce is easy who knows you will do well sometimes and how can you even thing about disobeying your parents it's not good for a girl to raise her  voice against anyone, people will say bad things about you OK" I said.
"Tell me something what will you study?" She asked.
"What mom says" I said.
"What job will you do?" She asked.
"What mom says" I said.
"Who will you marry?"
"The one who mom chooses for me" I said.
"What dress will you wear tomorrow?" She asked.
"What mom says" I said.
"Then I am afraid you will never understand what I am trying to say"
I didn't know what to say next so I kept quite.

2016, 3:00 Am
I had a long day at collage I had done extra revisions that day and I really needed time to rest but I couldn't sleep. Mom wanted me to get married as soon as I finish my education today she had purchased a necklace saying that we should slowly start buying jeweler as purchasing everything at once would require arranging a big amount all at once. She said "I want you to marry a banker or a government employee and live happily ever after like a queen" her words disturbed me as I had a serious crush on a guy. He was so cute I loved him so much. But after a mental debate with no answer for many hours I had finally dozed off to sleep. But I was not lucky enough to have a peaceful sleep. Right at 3:00 Am I heard a knock on the door of my bedroom. I thought it was some medical emergency so I ran to open the door. I found my younger sister Maya standing there she was taking deep breaths.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Lali............Lali di..........." She stammered as she struggled to breathe.
"What happened to her?" I said as I ran towards her home.
*
"She could have waited for the course to end" My mom who was sitting on the sofa at Lali di's house said.
"Who is this guy anyway?" My dad asked Lali di's mom who sat there with a shocked expression.
"Di will never run away for a guy" Maya said.
"Shut up Maya" I said in reflex.
So now I get it Lali di had run away from home. Parents like hers can make any girl who is not a robot like me run away anyway.
"I don't think it's for a guy" Aunty said.
I still didn't know what to say again. But I can tell from Maya's expression that she understood the situation correctly.
*
"So what was the situation?" I asked.
"I don't know till date what had happened to her she never came back to home after that. After some years I got married with a banker who worked in US and I got settled there I also heard that Lali became a famous celeb" Meena said.
"Oh! What happened with your true love at collage?" I asked, I realized instantly that it was non –of my business but I couldn't resist asking her.
"The same thing which happens to all the goody-goody Indian girls, girls like me who never have the guts to go against her parents will never be happy and have a lot of regrets while girls like Lali di who have the guts to go against her parents have all the fun she wants" Meena said she sounded J she was really Jealous at Lali I can tell from her expression that she was dying to have fun in life she wasted the most of her life trying to make her mom happy. Compared to her Lali had lived her life like a rollercoaster ride.
"She doesn't know a shit about Lali di" Said someone from behind me.

"Meet my younger sister Maya" Meena said pointing at a girl who was young and beautiful than her

"Meet my younger sister Maya" Meena said pointing at a girl who was young and beautiful than her.
"What do you mean that she doesn't know a shit about Lali?" I asked her.
"I mean what I said she only know the facts that any other person from our family knows Lali di never shares anything with her because she never cared to know about Lali di" Maya said.
"Then who knows?" I asked her.
"I do" She said.
"Then tell me" I said.
"Of course, On the year 2004 Lali di was in class 4'th that was the year when Chethan Bhagat relesed his first book 'Five point someone' and that was the same year when the problems in Lali di's life begun actually Lali di and CB started their journey on the same year, Lali di is one of the best persons I have met she had one small issue she trust too much and she loves too much, Love.........No one can measure the amount of pain a person can feel in love because it is way too much" Maya said.
"Shut up Maya you are talking like a host of a love story" Meena said.
"What is a host of a love story?" I asked.
"You know who gives an opening statement in a love story in films and TV shows based on love" Meena said.
"O....K........" I said.
"How do you know about love you failed to talk to your own mom about love how will you know anything about love?" Maya said to Meena in a sarcasm filled voice.
I thought that her attitude towards her sister was not too good. Anyway, it was non-of my business.
"So what else do you know about Lali?" I asked her.
"Lali di was a stress ball she was always upset about so many things she always had at least one reason to cry, everyone she loved always left her, Lali di wanted to become a director she started writing love stories since she was in 6th grade, her stories was always about love or friendship even after that the fact still remains that she never found true love or friend. Hey actually she had some friends why don't you contact them? They are not her best friends and all but Lali di shares her stories with everyone so they might know" Maya said.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Aisha her name is Aisha, she was Lali di's friend from collage" Maya said.
"Ok but first can you tell me all that you know about her" I asked.
"Ya sure" Maya said and began her story.

So this was the next chapter and one more thing this is not a Varun + Shradda story even though you can see their cool chemistry. You are free to imagine anyone in the place of original cast.
