Chapter 16

(The Dance)

Bridget's POV:

It was finally time for the dance. Teresa and I decided to ask the guys to meet us at my house, and they would come here with their dates to pick us up. I wore my dress, and my shoes. My makeup was lightly, and my hair was curled, and there was a bow in the back.

"Bridget I don't think I look good!" She yelled from the bathroom. "Sureeeee. Get your butt out here." I said. She came out, and looked amazing. "Teresa you look amazing!" I squealed and hugged her. "No! Look at you!" She yelled. "Enough fangirling. Come on. We have like 15 minutes." I said.

I wore my 2 inch long earrings, my heart necklace, and my bracelet that had diamonds around it, and another with with a simple black one. I grabbed my clutch, and added my 'stuff' The usual. Lipgloss, gum, phone, money, and mascara. *Ding Dong* "They're here!" Teresa freaked out. "Calm down. I'll get it."

I open it, and there stood Calum, Michael, Ashton, a girl who was probably Monica, Macy, and Luke. Okay, I have to admit, Luke looked pretty hot. Shut up. "Hey guys!" I smiled. "Hey Bridget." I said. "Calummmm, why're looking around?" I asked. It's true, he was looking around. I smirked. "You're looking for Teresa?" I asked. He blushed.

"She didn't tell you!?" I said. "She got sick, and decided to stay home." I said. He looked hurt. "I'm joking. She's coming. TERESA!" I yelled. She came downstairs, and Calum and Teresa just starred at each other. Aww. "You look gorgeous." I heard Calum say to Teresa. Awww. "Meet my date Monica." Michael smiled. Monica had blond hair with small brown streaks, green eyes, and her hair was in a perfect bun. She was gorgeous. "Hey I'm Bridget." I smiled. "Hey." She said

Macy looked....... Ummm... What's the word.... Unusual.. She was wearing a pink dress, that showed a lot of cleavage, her dress came to her mid thigh, and flew everywhere. Okay... And her face was caked with makeup. Everyone walked into my living room, but Luke stayed leaned against the doorframe. "You look amazing." He smiled. "Same to you." I blushed.

(The dance)

We reached the dance, and I went next to Ashton. "So, what's the plan?" I asked. "Hmm, not sure. Let's just go inside." I said. We all sat at one table. Macy was laughing, like trying to be all cute and stuff. You could clearly tell that she was faking. "All couple who want to dance please get on the dance floor." Our speaker said.

We all got up. It was the one where you start dancing with your partner, and your partner spins you, and you go to another partner. It's pretty fun. "You ready for the spin?" Ashton asked. I nodded, as he spun me. I felt hands on my waist. I looked, and saw Luke. "Hey..." I said awkwardly said. "Hey...." He said. We were awkwardly just looking at each other, and quiet. He spun me, and I went to a random person.

The dance was finished. We were all sitting down, and talking.

Macy's POV:

I tried to get Luke to notice me, but damn Bridget had to get in the way. *Ring Ring* It was my mom.

(Mom- M Macy-H)

H- Yes mom?

M- Macy Dillard! Get home now!

H- WHY?!

M- JUST GET HOME

H- Fine.

"Guys, I gotta get home. I had fun.... Thanks..." I said. I glared at Bridget. 'He's mine.' I said pointing to Luke, and left

Bridget's POV:

Oh. My. God. Did Macy just do what I think?! "Teresa.... A minute please..." I said. I grabbed her wrist, and went to the girls bathroom. "Did you see Macy!?" I shrieked. "YES." She said. "Ugh I swear, she acts all sweet and stuff, when she really isn't." I said. "Just let's ignore it, and have fun." she said

"The dance is over. Please head home students." Our principal announced. "I'll go home with Teresa, and I'll drop them off, and also-" "we'll go walking together." Luke and I said. Ashton wiggled his eyebrows, and I glared at him.

Teresa's POV:

"You sure that you're okay walking me home?" I asked, playing with my hands. "Of course. I wouldn't want a gorgeous girl like you to be alone." He said. I blushed. "Okay." I smiled.

Once we reached, Calum and I stopped on front of my house. "Thanks for this night." I said. He smiled, and hugged me from behind, on my waist. "You're gorgeous, you know?" Calum said. I smiled. I got on my tiptoes, and kissed his cheek. He immediately blushed. "Good night Calum. Hey, call me okay?" I said and walked inside.
