Chapter 44

Bridget's P.O.V

"Okay let's head back to the others they must be worried." I said pulling away from our hug.

"Yea, okay." He said, and we walked back.

"Can I ask you something, Luke?" I asked.

"Sure..." He said.

"Why did you start ignoring me after you saw Alex and I on top of each other?" I asked, biting the inside of my lip.

"Because I like you Bri." He said, and kissed me. Our lips moved in sync, as he put his arms around my waist. It felt like, we were alone. I kissed back, and he smiled against my lips, before he pulled apart.

"I've been waiting to do that." He smiled. I looked down, and blushed.

"GUYS! C'MON." Calum yelled.

"L-lets go." I said, blushing.

"Yea.." He said, as we walked back.

"What time is it?" Teresa asked.

"7. Damn, that was fast." Michael said.

"That seemed quick.." Summer chuckled, as she leaned on Michael's shoulder.

"Look at them 2." I said, whispering Teresa, and Luke. We looked at them. Summer looked at us, as I made a heart with my hands. She glared at me.

"Be quiet." She mouthed, as I laughed.

"Let's go get something to eat, and then head home." Ashton said.

"Where's Macy?" I asked.

"She's somewhere. I have no idea. She should be-"

"I'm here." She said, with a plastic bag in her hand.

"What's that?" Alex asked, pointing to the bag.

"I got ice cream for you all. But, um Bridget, I ran out of money before I could buy you one. Sorry." She said, looking for a spot between Luke and I.

"Just sit here, and it's alright." I said, pointing to a chair on the other side of Alex. She passed out the ice creams, and I knew she didn't buy me one on purpose. Ugh.

"And Luke I got you cookies and cream. Your favorite." She said, handing him his. She plastered a fake smile at me.

"Here, c'mon. I'll buy you one." He smiled, standing up.

"Nah, it's alright. I'll buy one myself." I said.

"No, come on. I insist." He smiled, holding his hand out. I grabbed his hand, and he pulled me up.

"Let's go. We'll be back." I said, we walked to the stand.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Um.... Strawberry please." I smiled, as he told the guy.

"Here." He handing me the ice cream.

"Thanks Luke." I smiled. I still can't believe Luke kissed me. Not that I didn't enjoy it or whatever, but that I didn't know it was coming.

"What are you thinking of?" He asked.

"Nothing..." I said.

"Okay.." He said, as we started to walk again.

"We're leaving. Come on. Gather your stuff guys." Ashton said.

"Okay." We said simultaneously. I gathered my bag, and my clothes. I threw them on, and took my phone out. It was 8:30 already.

I got in the car with Luke on one side, and Alex on the other side.

"I'm tired." I said, leaning on Luke's shoulder.

Alex's P.O.V

Bri and Luke looked more closer then they were before.... I glanced at Bri, and she was leaning against Luke's shoulder. I felt anger rise up me. Yes, I was jealous of Luke.

Bridget's P.O.V

I felt my eyelids getting heavy, so I just closed my eyes. I felt my body getting lifted. I squinted my eye open to see Luke. I smiled, but fell back asleep.
