Kentrell's POV: When Shy and her cousin walked up to the table all I could do was say to myself damn! Shawt was looking good from her head to her feet! I know I just met her and all dat but shawt the one for me real talk! I looked over at Joe who was drooling over her cousin and I laughed a little dude looking sprung already. The girls sat down, Sabrina across from Joe and Shyla across from me. We started eating our food and talking just getting to know each other.
Kentrell: So ya'll from BR?
Sabrina: Well I was born and raised here.
Kentrell: Shyla you wasn't?
Shyla: No I was born here but moved away when I was a month old.
Kentrell: Where ya move to?
Shyla: Where didnt I move I lived in Chicago up until I was four, then moved to NYC specifically Brooklyn for a year, then I moved to Raleigh, NC until I was 9 then I moved to ATL for a year then I moved to Philly for two years and finally L.A where I stayed until I graduated high school. I moved back here when I found out I got into college down here.
Kentrell: Damn Shawt you done lived everywhere, were ya moms or pops in the service or something?
Shyla: Yea something like that (lying)
Kentrell: Cool, So what ya majoring in?
Shyla: Business with a minor in management.
Kentrell: Thats whats up!
Joe: What about you Sabrina?
Sabrina: Im a makeup artist and hairstylist.
Joe: That's what up.
Kentrell: So how old are ya'll?
Sabrina: I'm 23.
Shyla: I'm 23.
Joe and Kentrell: Same as us.
Kentrell's Pov: We ate and got to know the girls some more. When we were finished I asked the girls what they was getting into tonight.
Kentrell: So what y'all getting into tonight?
Sabrina: We was planning on going to Club Fade.
Kentrell: Oh word, i'm hosting a party there tonight! Gone be chilling in VIP most of the night and I might perform a little something would love for y'all to chill with us.
Sabrina and Shyla: Bet!
Kentrell: Bet i'll make sure y'all got VIP wrist bands at the door and ya'll on the list.
Sabrina: Bet! Well we better get going gotta get our nails done for tonight.
Joe: Aight see y'all later.
Shyla and Sabrina: See y'all later.
Shyla's POV: As we walked away from the guys Kentrell smiled at me and winked. My stomach got those butterflies in it again but I also got that uneasy feeling I had earlier. I feel bad for lying to Kentrell about why I had to move so much. But I couldn't tell him the truth about why. Damn my past is gone catch up with me one day I just hope it's not soon.
