TRUTH HURTS OR DOES IT?

Shyla's POV: I woke up the next morning and felt arms wrapped around me I looked over and realized I was wrapped in Kentrell's arms. He looked so cute   sleeping. I smiled to myself thinking about last night. My body hasn't felt that good ever! DeAndre never made love to me like that in fact he never made love to me at all! All he ever did was force his self inside of me regardless of how I felt about it. That feeling I had last night came back I knew sooner or later I was going to have to tell Kentrell about my past, but I was afraid. I was afraid that if I told him that he wouldn't want to be with me anymore or that he would be mad at me. But the other side of that is if I don't tell him and he finds out he might be mad at me anyway. I was taken out of my thoughts when Kentrell woke up.

Kentrell: Good morning love!

Shyla: Good morning Baby!

Kentrell: Did you sleep good?

Shyla:Yea I did what about you?

Kentrell: I did especially cause I was holding you all night.

Shyla blushes.

Shyla: Awww.

Shyla's POV: My phone started going off I looked at it and it was Sabrina saying she'd like to face time. I answered.

Sabrina: Hey girl.

Shyla: Hey girl.

Kentrell: Hey girl.

Sabrina: Hey Ken.... Wait a minute is that who I think it is over there?!

Shyla: Well uh....

Kentrell: Hey girl hey! 

Shyla and Kentrell laugh.

Shyla: Kentrell you are so silly ( laughs)

Kentrell laughs.

Sabrina: OMG! I was calling to see how your date went last night but obviously it went good judging from the company you have over there.

Shyla and Kentrell laugh.

Sabrina: So I know this is going to sound like dumb question but I don't want to be presumptuous but are you two bf/gf now?

Before Shyla can answer Kentrell does.

Kentrell: Yuuuuup! Dat's my baybayyyyyyy!

Shyla and Sabrina laugh.

Shyla: What my baybayyyyyyy said!

Kentrell laughs.

Sabrina: I swear y'all are so extra ( laughs)

Kentrell and Shyla laugh.

Sabrina: But seriously I am so happy for y'all!

Kentrell and Shyla: We happy for us too ( laughs)

Sabrina: Ya'll are crazy!(Laughs)

Shyla and Kentrell laugh.

Sabrina: Ya'll just don't know I have been rooting for ya'll to get together since we all met each other at the mall.

Shyla and Kentrell: Aww that's so sweet.

Sabrina:Well I will let y'all love birds get back to what ya'll was doing, wait a minute what was y'all doing?

Before Shyla can answer Kentrell does.

Kentrell:. We was doing the GROWNUPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Shyla laughs.

Shyla: What my baybayyyyyyy said!

Sabrina and Kentrell laugh.

Sabrina: Y'all are too much. But I'll talk to y'all later, call me later girl.

Shyla: Okay girl.

Kentrell: Okay girl.

Sabrina and Shyla laugh.

Shyla:. Bye Sabrina.

Sabrina Bye Shyla, Bye Kentrell.

Kentrell: Bye girl.

Shyla hangs up the phone and bust out laughing.

Shyla: I can't with you( laughing)

Kentrell laughs.

Sabrina's POV: I hung up the phone with Shyla and I was so happy for her and for Kentrell. I didn't ever think she would get over everything DeAndre did to her and be able to open up and let another man in again. I would like to think that one of my many amazing pep talks had something to do with it but it could also  be that she decided it was time to let go of the past and realized that all men aren't the same. Either way I am so happy for my cousin and I can tell Kentrell makes her happy and vice versa. Im sure she explained to him all about what DeAndre did to her. I'd rather not relive that it was so awful. My cousin has had no choice but to be strong she's been through alot I don't know everything but I do know the little bit she told me about and I'm sure she will tell Kentrell whenever she is ready. I had a busy day today I had lots of  clients today mostly to get their hair done but a couple wanted their makeup done so I got out of the bed to get my day started.

Shyla's POV: I was still lying in my bed with Kentrell and he was making me laugh so hard and honestly I'm glad he was it was taking my mind off things. Kentrell took his phone off the nightstand and took a selfie of us.  He kissed my cheek as he took the pic and then he posted the pic to his Instagram and captioned it: Good Morning selfie with my heart! # My one and only! # My love! # My Forever! # My Shawt! @ItsShylaMaree. Immediately the pic started getting likes and comments the first one coming from Sabrina of course who commented" Ya'll so cute! 💜💜💜💜💜💜 Love y'all! 😘". The next comment came from Joe he said" So happy for my partna/brotha/best freind and my new sis. Love!" The rest of the comments came from some of his other friends including some celebrities like Nikki Minaj, Chris Brown and others. His fans also left comments some left congrats others said how cute we was, some left sad faces because they were now finding out their favorite rapper was no longer available and one girl in particular who went by the name  THATBITCHNISHA commented" Sersiously is this the bitch you wit now? I ain't even gone trip cause I know she ain't shit. Better watch yourself YB she might give you the package or something she look like a dirty hoe who done slept with every man in  BR who likes pussy and probably even some who don't. Don't trip baby we gone get back tight and i'll always be your one and only Love you baby! As for the bitch in the picture with you I'm warning you one time and one time only bitch back off my man, if you know what's good for you you'll do a magic trick and make yourself disappear bitch before I do it for you. Judging from the post this must of been that horrible ex of his that Sabrina was telling me about the other day. Kentrell commented back that the two of them had been over and that she needed to go drink some water or something cause she was looking mad thirsty. His fans started jumping in telling this Nisha chick she needed to back off and that YB was better off without her lying scheming ass. I mean his fans was going in on her and going hard for him. They told her that he looked so much happier with me and that she was just jealous, next thing we know chick deleted her comment. Kentrell commented I guess the thot had enough and went and got that glass of water I told her to get😂. His fans all commented back with laughing emojis and then he thanked them for having his back and he promised them he would drop a new song for them to show his appreciation. All the while that was going on my mind keep thinking about all the stuff i've yet to tell Kentrell. I decided before this relationship could go any further I had to tell him, it was only fair to him. I decided I'd tell him later on today that would give me time to figure out how I was going to do that. Kentrell said he had to go to the studio today to work on the last few songs that would be on the album and then he had to meet with the club handling his album release party. He asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. He got up a got dressed and said he would be back in an hour to get me. I slipped on my robe and walked him to the door. He leaned in and kissed me and I kissed him back.

Kentrell: I'll see you in a bit love.

Shyla: Okay.

Kentrell: I love you!

Shyla: I love you too!

Shyla: With that Kentrell walked out the door and got in his car and sped off. I couldn't help but think about how I was going to say what I had to say, one thing is for sure at the end of this day we will know weather or not the truth really sets you free and weather or not it hurts.
