SUPRISE!

3 months later:

Shyla's POV: It's been three months since graduation and things were going great. I have taken over the bookstore since the Smith's retired a couple weeks after I graduated. Boomer and Kei'anna started dating and they were really cute together. Joe and Sabrina were still going strong and as for me and Kentrell  we were better than good. It's like we grew more in love with each other every minute. I was currently at the bookstore trying to get some work done but I've been nauseous all morning and throwing up. I was organizing some books on the shelf when Sabrina and Kei'anna walked in I was supposed to be having lunch with them today.

Sabrina and Kei'anna: Hey girlie!

Shyla: Hey y'all! Oh shit!

Shyla runs to the trashcan and throws up.

Sabrina: You alright girl?

Shyla: No I've been nauseous and  throwing up all morning.

Kei'anna: You pregnant girl?

Shyla: No, I mean not that I know of  anyway.

Sabrina: Well there is only one way to find out. Let's get you a pregnancy test.

Shyla's POV: Sabrina left and went to the Walgreens across the street. She came back five minutes later with a bag full of pregnancy test. She handed me the bag and I looked in the bag and there must have been 10 test in there.

Shyla: Why did you get so many test?

Sabrina: Just so we can be sure you are or aren't.

Shyla: I'll be right back.

Shyla's POV: I walked to the bathroom and before I could even open one of the test I was throwing up again. When I was done I rinsed my mouth out and proceeded to take the first test. 15 minutes later I had taken all the test. I left out of the bathroom and went back out to the front of the store to wait. I'm not going to lie I was extremely nervous I mean what if they come back positive? How am I going to tell Kentrell, how will he react? He always says he wants a family with me but does he really mean it? I was taken out of my thoughts when Kei'anna spoke.

Kei'anna: You alright girl?

Shyla Not going to lie I am super nervous.

Sabrina: Why you nervous?

Shyla: Because what if I am pregnant?

Kei'anna:. You say that like it is a bad thing.

Shyla: I mean it might be.

Sabrina: You don't wanna have a baby?

Shyla: It's not that it's just that if I am how am I going to tell Kentrell and what if he gets mad?

Sabrina: Get mad?! Why would he get mad all that boy ever talks about is having a family with you.

Kei'anna: Yea girl thats all he ever talks about.

Shyla: But what if he was just talking?

Sabrina: Trust me girl that boy is not just talking.

Kei'anna: Sabrina is right! Kentrell wants nothing more than to have a family with you and marry you one day! He is head over heels in love with you and a baby would only make him love you that much more.

Shyla: I guess you guys are right, thanks guys.

Sabrina: That's what we here for girl.

Kei'anna: Now go back there and check to see if I'mma be a big cousin or not.
